My name is Jamie Lidell and I'm gonna delve into the heady magic of creating music in a modern studio, probe the depths of production, get tech crazy with mixing tricks, studio skills and equipment. I'll be joined by fellow musicians, engineers and all-round audiophiles who kindly share their tips, stories and ingenious insight from the bizarre world of music production. I shall answer questions and seek knowledge from other music makers on a quest to discover how to make things sound RIGHT. I will also share some studio trickery on each episode as I explore some of my favourite innovations in music tech and my creations... outpourings from the weirdo brain! Welcome to a place for musicians, producers and listeners alike as we "cheers" our love of everything audio.

Voice as the sung and the oscillating and the transient.
The trilogy of the blown out I present to you here.
The fist module and the main JUICE is the Divkid and Apollo view MANIC. It's a supercharged VCA that has ring mod, distortion and wavefolding all in a nice small space.
Vocals through a wave folder is a trip.

The second main sculptor here is the DualTwin filter from Aulos which is the brain child of Bert who birthed the famous Fenix synths. This filter speaks and is a delight when joyed with a stick.

I just got one of these and don’t do modular but want to take advantage of CV remote speed like in this video. Any advice from the internet? Also in there a community of folks with these devices chatting and troubleshooting? I haven’t found anything

sweet!! Is the OXI One doing the Voice allocations? Is it spreading notes over different Midi channels, or how does it do it?

@@spenzasequenzaright. I’ve always used the hermod to make poly patches. I’m fast that’s pretty much all I do with it. It’s so good at it! What can I say?
