Yamaha Smart Pianist App - In-Depth Overview - Ruggero Piano
So basically if i buy this and a whole symphony worth of instruments with this technology i would have what every Audio fanatic chases in 500k million dollar speakers and hundreds of thousands of equipment and toom treatment
Far from being a secret.
I have that same model and I can say that it is absolutely wonderful.
an '11' for pianos!
Talk about luxury items
we never did this we just use the normal 88
Who would’ve thought a company (Yamaha) that makes badass moterships also create the most beautiful and dreamy sound in the world? That of a bright, rich grand piano
The problem with those sub-contra-bass notes is that, nobody will ever write for them, because they can't be played on a regular piano...
They're not really there to be played - more for resonance I think.
Well they were invented for Busoni, who used them in his Bach transcriptions of Organ Works. Other composers during that era, around 1900, wrote some stuff for the new Imperial Grand too. I think even Ravel used the extra bass.
I used to sell these. I made a ton of $ and had a wonderful time until an overblown Dallas corporation went out of business.. Disklaviers are simply amazing. And, it is NOT a "player piano". My goal is a DS6 of my own.
What song is that
Clair de Lune
You can attach those to any pianos!
Wrong, you don't know what you're talking about. Not these. These are built in and engineered from the beginning. Go to a Yamaha showroom and learn something.
@ you’re very arrogant! They sell the piano disk separately, to add on virtually any piano.
Yes, they sell it seperately and can be installed on piano of any brand.
Money buys happiness
imagine being in your living room, just finished practicing, and an hour later your piano plays music by itself.
My dream piano. I saw Victor Borge play one live.
They took our jerbs
THEY TOOK OUR JERBS!
I would love to sit on my couch and relax while this plays in my living room. May God bless you my brother in Jesus Christ. 😊
how does this work?
Go to a Yamaha showroom. They'll show you. Trust me, it's fascinating. Many different technologies involved. It's an engineered system, not an add on.
Are you sure? I've seen a disklavier add on before.
How much is such a piano? I’ll start saving now
Bro did not show what they sound like. Oh my god that is so ANNOYING! that would be the first thing I would doooooooooooooooooooo 🫠🫠🫠
This is on purpose. A phone speaker will never do a piano like this justice. Better to not even attempt.
U could have at least shown the tone colour bc I not interested in tone depth but in tone colour 😔😔
I did my masters of music and piano performance and pedagogy at Ohio University and was privileged to play on a 10-ft Bosendorffer Grand Imperial. It really was very special.
Is that the one animez has? seems like it
I'm too poor to even breathe towards a grand piano. Lol
Wish I had the money to get a grand piano, at least a Yamaha or Kawai. Maybe in the future Hopefully. But for now, im too poor to breathe towards a grand piano.
Didn’t know John Cena could play piano.
Beethoven is this you?
Ghosts looking at this video be like...😭😢
I love the 230VC but the 225 has always had a special majestic sound and clarity that the new VC’s cannot match.
Absolutely gorgeous! Both performers, siblings, were fantastic!
I've performed on a Bosendorfer Imperial Grand. The resonance is incredible. It's like performing on a totally different instrument.
I played a concert grand with gold platted lid that had an electric lift in Birmingham, Al it sounded wonderful.
I’ve played one! BUTTAH!!! Delicious!
Can you do the bösendofer 290
Does the company sell l pianos in Michigan?
Do you know which Yamaha upright acoustic model they had on sale and for how much? Thanks!
I played one in a music store, $150,000, kind of beyond my budget. Would love to have one, though.
It’s a marvel of an instrument. I had the chance to play on a Bösendorfer for a few years. That was a wonderful time.
I'll trade my five cheap keyboards for this. You pay shipping it's a deal.
I played a fancy grand piano at UWEC. It had extra keys too!
one of the keys should be brown. Be careful with that one.
Brown?
Brown?
Brown?
Brown?
They are referencing the 'brown note', which is a myth that says that there exists a specific low note can cause humans to involuntarily defecate
Can we hear boggie woggie blues
This piano could literally teach you!
In my very humble opinion, the Steinway is to the Stradivari (violin) as the Bosendorfer is to the Guarneri del Gesù (violin). Decisive and above all ringing sound of the first ones and deep, warm and velvety sound of the second ones. They play in different ways so you can't make a ranking: they are two different things. Rather, rather than making these (I repeat) impossible as well as cloying classifications, it makes sense to discern on which musical pieces should be performed with the former and which with the latter
But can it play jazz?
Oscar Peterson would say yes!
Serious question: Is it better than a Steinway?
Steinway is a Cadillac compared to a Maybach
Personal preference!
Both are top of the line pianos, especially if you are comparing to Hamburg Steinway. At this level it's a matter of personal preference and it also depends on the individual pianos. But overall, I cannot say Bösendorfers are better than Steinways or vice versa.
Only if i could afford it…
Haha, a new thing on your bucket list
I WANT IT!
song name?
Clair de lune Debussy
What about the Samick SU-118F? I'm looking for spare parts because we don't have Piano Techs where I live , only Tuners Not Techs 😢
Which model piano is in the video?
This is a Yamaha DGB1KNEST 5' Disklavier Grand!
Magical, brilliant, and poetic. Balm for the soul. I loved it! ❤
Dearest Joe and Dr. Gray- how phenomenal your concert was. Your Rachmaninov was so full of emotion and virtuosity, greatness. The Milhaud and Lutoslawski, outstanding. Loved your descriptions of the composers, also. The two hours went by so quickly. The comment-“the piece hasn’t gone to the dogs” 😊 you two are terrific together. Love you guys- real artists!!! Love, connie Maestranzi gottschalk
