I have a question: Is SAWL a type of EFW process?
SWAL is Submerged Arc Welded Longitudinal, there is a single seam weld on the outside surface of LSAW pipes. ERW is Electric Fusion Welding, manufacture this type of pipe by using steel coils. by rolling and joining the two extremities end electrically to build it in a pipe shape.

In summary, SCH 40 is a standard weight pipe for general applications, while SCH 40S specifically refers to standard stainless steel pipes.
