Building is one of the best parts! 🛠️
Thanks for the effort, appreciated :)
Here's the only thing you need to know about Crossout, it's a scam.... Crossout only want's your money and pay walls you behind renting a crafting bench to make progress. Fortunately I was able to play the game when it was amazing during early access before they moved over to the cash grab of a game it is now.
Half of this is perfect. Half is dog water. Anyone who has played more than 2 weeks can tell which is which
gaijais soul purpose is to suck the life out of you and your money... period... they would let you become a gambling degenerate for all they care...they are litterally the scum of the earth in my eyes... they nearly promote cheating in war thunder... high tier tanks.... def cheaters left and right.... after dedicating years to see a cheater buy 1premium with a 128774661 name as a account as if thats not a clear indicator its a cheater idk what is...yet they still make 10 kills a game and make 2 mile shots each time....
so basically: a pay to win game is not worth your time, better play it on low PowerScore with blue weapons...
Make that money 🤑💰
it is fun indeed fun if you like half life buts it got more mechanic stuff in it.. survival game i say but yea. did bought and play it alone when it just released in steam sadly.. friends no like this kinda game... although i never ask them yet lol
Lesson one. Do not build what you want to build. Put down pieces to point it hurts your eyes. Then continue. If the sight of what you made doesnt give you an urge of self harm your eyeballs, youre building it wrong.
fuck this game
The short and easy is you will buy high and sell low. If something cost an outrageous amount say 27k to buy odds are they will release it in a 30 day season to flood the market and crash prices to 2-5k again. Dont buy anything from the shop unless its 50% off and you can sell the parts you dont want for atleast an additional 3-4k. Always under cut, if you see something for $350 offer .01 and try to resell it for $2k. No it wont sell but you see people doing it all the time. Biggest tip, play on PC. They give you loads of free builds at the start so you start in the 5-8k build range saving you 6+ months or $100 to $800 in packs to get there.
I started yesterday fresh account on pc, Now level 13 but what do i sell to get the most money. I’ve been doing a lot of raids, plastic is the highest thing in the market to sell atm.
I don’t mind grinding in Crossout as much as in Warthunder or World of Tanks, I guess its the nice short matches, there not as exhausting.
@aldraone-mu5yg I don't mind the grind of games myself but do you think that you'll still be grinding this game 7 years straight just to complete your setup of one aircraft or vehicle? The rewards are a joke, the market is delusional on items they sell and the best players bash their wallets harder than a wife beater does after one too many drinks. Put simply you ain't getting anywhere fast unless you ask mommy and daddy for their credit cards. The fun is there, but it's a game that doesn't value your time, effort or skills and as a result it falls flat as a desperate cash grab game by Gaijin
@@wrenix9362 I guess it does require a little forward planning so you don’t waste your coins, but you don’t reset all your progress they way you might when switching to a different tech tree like in Wot. Don’t get me wrong thoughts I fucking hate grinding.
500 coin a week lol
I did yesterday 900 coins in 2,5 hours. 😂
Very well explained, thank you! Yo playerz - please do not spend hundreds of bucks into micro transactions.
There is 2 main ways to make a build, 1. Cabin in the back protected by your entire build, using as many 90% and 50% resistance parts you possibly can fit,ad a few heavy bumpers and you end up at around 1150 hp...give or take depending on you base cabin hp and if u decide to use ANY plates that give hp but dont provide 50% resist, this is the vast majority of hover builds, aswell as TRADITIONAL firebug/draco/melle builds, but even heavy spiders tend to use this cab in the back bumpers in front setup, all they change is they replace small 90% resist parts for massive HP plates. 2. Cabin in front used as armor(the oldest way) to make this viable you generaly want a large cabin such as heavy cabins, using the cab to protect all the valuable modules and weapons, but then you need a solid amount of HP(3000 is a good starting point),it can be pushed around 6000 but its nearly always more viable using that extra mass for bumpers and resistance parts, this is what we like to call a BRICK build, mostly using shotguns or flamethrower, but they can be seen with prety much all weapons in game, the core build is so durable and easy to change weapons as they are usualy placed on top of the build and not armored. anything outside of these 2 setups is you getting creative, such as cab in the center dual mandrake using one mandrake in front of cab and other one behind, using large guns with good hp to protect cab, same as a mastodon on wheels can do,or a Kronos cab setup with center cab to have guns on the cabins connectors and have the entire build fit into an Aegis shield. BONUS round!,a good way to test builds is simply shoot your own build with a JOTUN,and an INCINERATOR,see whats left after a full duration of sitting in the puddles.
Me a beginner with a dune buggy at 4000 ps tryna comprehend 6000 hp 😂😭
You promise 5 tips how to build, and then laughing on auto-builds instead. 🤦♂️
Go away.
This is just what I needed. Thank you Flak my boy
I got 700 crosscrowns for 50USD and got the ronin deluxe edition, i got titan wheels, retchers, fused rare coolers and radiators, cockpit cabin, decorations, and the copperhead stadium, was it a good investment?
No
Just in case anybody is wondering what creek it is... It's shit creek. I've been up there in my kayak without a paddle. You have to use your hands. After that, when you touch your own ass hole and try to enjoy the smell (don't lie up yourself, everbody loves their own) you can't as you're not sure if it's all your own or a mix 😢
In other words take a house mortgage out because otherwise this game is going to be grinding your braincells away it'll take so long to build one thing
10:37 I thought I was stretching it when i said 7 years XD
A little over two-years ago, I was a newly minted cadet standing at Chamberlain's not knowing what to do next; today, I am a multi-billionaire Elite V trader, Elite I explorer -- with every ship (save hot garbage Drop and Crusader) all highly engineered, sitting on my fleet carrier, ruler over all I survey. I haven't even gotten started.
8:54 And over that you can make 700 coins a week without premium. My method is to save recourses for an epic part, craft this epic part and sell it for high. You need about 4700scrap, 1500copper, 500 wires and at least 250plastic. I just grind the scrap or exchange my badges for scrap. I just exchange all my badges in wires. I just do raids for plastic and copper. But if you’re a new player under 9000ps then DONT do invasion. And if a event gives you free premium and you’ve 3 teammates, just do invasion all the time if u all guys have over 9000ps. Just use all of your fuel. You will make thousands of copper. And if you have Acari, Incenerator Retcher all that stuff and you’re quick enough on average, you can make about a 100 per hour. You need to try it out.
I would be interested in an update on this to see how your understanding has grown. Many of the builds you showed would get stripped in a heartbeat on higher levels
A good intro, only put 500 hrs into the game (got the pre-engineered FSD, doing so broke me lol), then i changed phone providers, forgot to update number, lost my 15 yo steam account (And about 36 games), monitor died, PC died, anyway just re-installed EDO, two days ago... Already have a 80% UG'ed Vulture and an 80% Asp Explorer, will start the Engineering grind for the Pre-engineered FSD soon :( Wanting to do exploration, a friend is 8k LY away... I remember a fair bit how to do basic stuff, worryingly, i've forgotten alot. I found when you start off on foot, it took me several minutes have to get in my ship...face palm.
P.S i've been spending about the same time watching Videos ( maybe 10-15 hours so far...) on how to do stuff as i've played the game, it's kind of crazy.
The $100 pack looks good but I can just buy a completely new game
90% passthrough does not mean 9 out of 10 shots pass, it means 90% of the bullet damage of each shot passes and 10% is absorbed by the part until its dead. You seem to have a grasp on how structure works but your builds seem to have new player mistakes. You are on the right track to learning, but please earn more game experience and then start providing guides.
My god bro im sorry i been building on xbox since 2017 and this is honestly a horrible build video. WwONESTARwW says please take pro outta the description.
IMPORTANT ! ! ! The exchange rate of badges to recources is NOT linear! It is cheaper to exchange with the highest quantity and smaller quantity will cost more badges for less recources.
the biggest three tips I can give might just turn some heads away from the game and that's perfectly fine... 1: the most efficient way to gather materials for engineering is to camp a spot that has what you want and reload infinitely until you're full... 2: get ready to work the game instead of play it because credit rewards come slow and most ships and gear aren't worth using in their stock states, so engineering is required. and finally 3: don't play in open unless you either have a fully engineered ship and the skills to fly it or a massochistic streak larger than the grand canyon because in open, you'll find people who enjoy nothing more than blowing up new players for no reason. Bonus tip: most of the info you need to play will not be found in the game, you'll want to go to sites like innara, EDSM, and many other user created tools to find all the info you need.
You can fly in open -- just don't go to the popular spots: Engineers (especially Deciat) Shinrarta Dezra, Sol, any power HQ...etc. I mean, Even the in the Bubble you can carve out a home and see absolutely no one. You may come across someone here and there, but it will be seldom. Anytime you need to go to a hotspot is when you go to solo mod. I've met some good folks I still run with just by being in open.
Money has been the most solved problem in elite for its entire life Sure it's a grind, especially if you don't want to do ax or combat in general But there are some insane money makers out there that can be done in almost any ship, or spires, even with the 60% nerf, they are still one of the best in the game and can be done in a starting sidewinder if you show up to the axi pg and discord at the right time
@@Sylusssss this emphasizes my bonus tip lol :) there are always a few quick cash injection methods but the easiest ones require outside knowledge to take advantage of, whether it's a group protecting your little sidewinder while you spire farm or just knowing about lucrative activity spots, you won't find them in game. For reference, I'm a former player who ran during the time when wing trade missions were most lucrative and I could just hand out close to 10,000,000 credit payouts to up to 3 random people with just a couple hours of flying a cutter for trade lol...
@@GlitchedVisionI started the game recently, about two months ago now, and have barely any time to play. Just playing the game the way I wanted to got me more than enough money to easily afford any ship I could get (since I don’t have the reputation ranks for that super expensive imperial ship, which I can’t afford to fully outfit without selling a ship, and I’m a hoarder so…), having fun the entire way. I would not call that “slow” or relying upon outside info (aside from the outside info of knowing the game exists / easy help pages for mechanics, that’s absolutely something the game is lacking internally) Now, what I enjoy is mining so I’ll admit that that will be a decent chunk of change inherently. However I’ve been spending more time lately exploring the other options, and they all feel well balanced enough to do the very same. You enjoy Trading? The commodities market UI tells you what commodities are cheap at other stations and/or good to sell at other stations within like 20ly. Without any external research you can fairly quickly get a trade route that’s about 20k per ton usually from those menus. With SCO especially that’s super fast now if it’s a single system jump route, so with 100 cargo (a conservative average for new players) that’s around 2m credits every 10 minutes let’s say, of doing something you enjoy. At a really conservative lower bound too, you’d earn enough to haul over 100 tons fairly quickly that way considering the available cargo ships in the sub-10m range. Like exploring? There are a ton of terraformable, terraformed, or earth like worlds in the bubble all of which will be 1-2m for full system discovery scan. Exobiology signals are a plenty too and is even more lucrative, can do 1 billion from purely bubble exobiology signals (though that one requires knowing the locations if you wanted to do it quickly, organically finding them would take longer as you play the game, still very lucrative though and trivially affords whatever ship. Combat? Participating in combat zones saw me getting 1-2m a war and that’s with my incredibly bad combat skills. Pirates are even easier. Missions for those are 2-6m per mission for around 10 kills of a pirate. That’s ignoring thargoids altogether which is more lucrative but requires more investment. Missions? They basically can be applied to all the above. Main unique ones are passenger missions. Which you can get a few million per run of passengers pretty quick. Lots of fun that one and I was doing it using a dolphin purely for private trips rather than the more money bulk missions at that. All of those require no engineering. If you want, FSD engineering would be nice. But getting the materials for the most useful levels isn’t really that hard now too, you do need to know what a wake scanner is though (a bit hard to organically figure out in game alone). For HGE mats, the SCO drives make getting those whenever you enter a system stupid fast, and the galaxy map lets you filter for material traders so, can get them. No relogging needed. Sure, that method may be fastest, but it absolutely is not *required* and implying it is seems reductive. Can engineering help? Sure. But only in combat does it truly start to significantly impact “can I or can I not do this content”, and the game’s PvE system appears to be tuned so that you do not hit that wall in the beginning, or it seems ever. It’s strictly a bonus. Which is really nice. If there’s a play style I’m missing from the above, it’s because I haven’t tried it yet. But all I can think of would be on foot stuff, and I’ve heard the FPS combat zones pay well. I guess the only play style that doesn’t appear to have much balance to give money would be pure PvP. And well, that feels like it should be obvious that you can’t make a career fighting other players alone and would need to do something else to get initial funds.
I lost more than 10,000 coins to bug in the game, crossout support said they are not responsible for errors, bugs or glitches in the game. Not to mention the absurd amount of hacks in the game. Loss of coins is related to change within the game. programmed to steal there are NPCs who buy and sell items in the store and it is common for them to buy and sell items, what happens is that the NPCs are not paying for the items and are not delivering purchased items. For those who negotiate a lot in the game store the damage is great. I have friends who lost 169 k coins to the bug. crossout computer version
I’ve never heard of crossout trading. Could you give me some intel on it? I might want to get into it depending if this issue is fixed now
Copy/paste the super wedge. Apply lame-zers or relic shotguns
1 Sabbath wheel is worth $30 in coin conversion.
The conversion is a scam lol
You shoot through most buggy parts so they take almost no damage as long as that one part is connected to cab it's one of the best ways to mount a weapon
Enjoy this game. If you want to consistently win in pvp it can be viewed as pay to win, for your not going to have relic weapons as those who've invested money or years in obtaining them. Yet every match win or lose while doing enough damage to receive rewards you will get things for competing. Used wisely you can then use them to craft better items or sell for coin to buy them. Grind enough wisely you will become able to be better with better items and builds earning better rewards for crafting. It just seems overwhelming for your far behind the day 1 to even 1 year player starting out.

BabOon POWER!
hey nice video, a lot of nice tips on it
Here is the best way to get coins like he does buy them.He would not be on TH-cam and let's see bias his stuff, he can't.He makes money off of you.People why people give you dumb m***********'s money?I will never know
I know you're trying to make TH-cam content so you don't have to get a job. But let me give you the run down on cross out.I've been playing since beta. They change the game so much now. It is not for new players unless you spend lots of money. The game is dying, don't waste your time.
You must be fun at parties.
@FlakCannonGaming He is one of thoose butthurt russian kids, who blame their current equipment of their bad winrate. Ignore them.
People have been saying Crossout is dying since Dawns Children. Never underestimate the power of the sunk cost.
1) You are useful in fight while you are mobile and hold your weapons, redundant armor is dead weight and waste of power. 2) Bots and some automatic weapons aim to the exact middle of the cabin, so avoid putting weapons among those known directions 3) Hide weapons from far away snipers for easy silhouette aiming 4) Defend your wheels and frame construction from quick ram damage 5) Take care about center of gravity to avoid most flipping
Very Helpful video, keep it up.
Keep in mind, shoot through parts apply to bullets only. Even small explosions like autocannons obliterate small shoot through parts in a hurry.
Gun mounts are a good part dont get me wrong but they are bad for putting guns because it as a huge hitbox of 380 so easy to remove at high powerscore they are better as a secondary parts to put yours guns on unless they are completely cover by something strong + gun mount are not bullet pass through they are dmg pass through. Pls dont try to teach how to do things at anyone else, begin by unstanding and knowing stuff before teaching other how it things works You have horribles exemple on really bad build with little knowlage of the game mechanics + on top of that your a brand new player
When your on wheels its pratically always better to put your guns in line from front to back and with straffing movement parts to aline your guns from left to right or 2 on top and 1 under on omamori to be able to make good protection between your guns while on the omamori and for wheels its simply to be able to shoot left and right( breakers are good exeption so they both connected on omamori) you can still put your guns left and right as long as you prioritise the full rotation left and right having a fast build on cheetah eagis is an excellent option to replace the omamori or the new engine
Its better to use good grills like elbow and gun mount to mount your guns keep in mind that it is always better to have your guns connected on 2 good parts each and that is always better to put guns on omamori/ hidden ammobox/cab never put guns on armor parts You can also use bumpers and good grills like elbow and gun mount to make connection at stratégique spot of the build. Never make multiple connection like on the humpback spider instead make sure parts are put on frames/cab/modules/grills/pass through parts/bumpers. Always put your gen at the buttom in the back part of the cab, could also be put forward if connected on omamori and well protected. Agile build are always better even if you have a lot hp its always better to be able to fallow your target while aim and being able fastly change target
Just wondring avout mounting on "hidden" ammo box ? Never heardthis one. Could you pls explain why ?
I often use auto build and then tweak it to work better
bruh
No
nice vid, thx and keep it up, Great Analyzing.
Really good guide i just want to note that you can do around 1.5k per week by playing and crafting it was a time where i was doing 10k per mount with some parts, not taking acount that their is even better way to make money if your welling to put the cash on the table like the machinist 2 week ago
Problem is you need coins to make coins. You can't trade 1.5k in a week when you got near nothing.
@@DreadJaegerplay the game, sell crafted parts then buy and sell
Oh my bad again I made the comment before your mounting section. But you should really take a look in the armory. A lot more stuff has bullet passthrough than you think
