Ford has power but hey, ram has Bluetooth.?

What about crash safety for drivers. Nobody talks about how safe these are in accidents

No mention of the 💩ty side door latch in the Ram. Or the extra 💩ty transmission in the Ram.(maybe addressed with the 9sp now).

I used to work as driver and had the chance of drive both and my conclusion is that the Transit is superior in almost every way but in winter snowy time where the Promaster has no problem at all going everywhere even in slipery roads.

They are both unreliable vehicles. This motor and trans is the same as the mini van. Ram is under powered and has a trans problem. They are also terrible off pavement. The transit has torque converter, motor, trans, and sensor problems. GM makes the best tower and power train, but no high roof. The oil consumption issue is a minefield. Maybe a GM van with an after market high roof or cut away box is the answer, before they try to be an unreliable sprinter too. I have been a ram driver my whole adult life and I’m 60. My ram 1500 4x4 had it’s transmission replace under extended warranty, at 100,000 miles. It is having an intermittent shift problem again at 132,000 miles. They can not get it to do it, in a five minute drive, so they can’t / won’t fix it. Hemi’s are another issue. I had the exhaust manifold clicking fixed a couple times. I am happy I haven’t had the lifter roller pin problem yet. A lot of my friends did have that issue. I can not buy another tow vehicle because prices are now through the roof, and all three car companies are selling unreliability. So I am driving on borrowed time. All the diesels have the garbage DEV systems: also unreliable. The new hundred gears transmission are also not reliable. A guess a used is the answer.

Great comparison but reliability is not good on either. If toyota brought the hi ace to the states, they would sell out like crazy.

Just got me the ecoboost transit a couple of days ago. I'm pretty sure I made the right choice.

As a shop owner with contractors coming in to service or repair their vehicles (both of these that are being compared) hands down mechanically the Ford Transit 150 with V-6 is a better buy.

Front wheel drive sucks in Florida sugar sand when your used to rear wheel drive and you forget and you pull off pavement in the front 😂 😂 seen it happens all the time for a company I used to worked for lol. Dude said I kept the rear wheels on the pavement though. 😂

Hey good dealer meeting , but 15’000 miles with transmission problems is not Aceptable ,right head light with water damage is not acceptable either , So you are the shiper van yes 👍. Always are room to improve better product .

I own transit and four years I only needed gas /oil one time brake pads and tons of washer fluid,, i love that van and glad i got it ,, read lot of promasters reviews/complaints about transmission etc,, oh and lets not even talk about design 🤣

Let's not forget the RAM is front wheel drive with 3 inches of ground clearance under the real solid axle. Oh ya and it's a FIAT!!!

The Bluetooth in the pro master will disconnect but the Bluetooth in the transit will not disconnect The pro master also high speed is 70 The Ford transit top speed is 98 mph

Pro Masters are straight up junk period. Don’t even know where to start. I’m 6,5 no one my size can fit in that pro master cab.

All Chrysler products are garbage . The pentastar in my Ram 1500 had check engine, limp mode, cam phaser issues in at least 4x under warranty they never could fix it and I had to turn in the 3 year lease ( $3000 at signing ) instead of the buy out option of only $22k. I lost tons of money and time. I called Chrysler customer number , they were no help dealer was rude... Never again . I hope you never sell a truck again and get what you have coming .....!!!

This guy is what my grandfather used to call a Flim Flam artist. Pushing a crap product like it's a superior item is kinda disgusting. Not saying the Ford is a great van, but it will surely outlive the Ram. Also, as someone who drives on jobsites, none of these euro vans is ideal. RWD is superior in every situation save snow and it really only snows a few times every year. It's a silly argument and FWD was sold to the consumer purely for weight savings.

2021 and still cant get tilt wheel. ! And only a 6 speed trans. Transit has 10 speed for mileage. Ram sucks on a long trip.

The ram pro master is sure damn ugly but I do give them credit for providing cargo van competition for its consumers. GM unfortunately can’t come up with nothing at this point 🤷‍♂️

Promaster is the ugliest van on planet earth. Wouldnt drive one even of I got paid to. And definitely wouldn't buy one. Heard so many bad things about the engines, and who in the world wants a front wheel drive van?!

I have a promaster..I really like it. It is however a very unreliable van.. I think it needs revamping by means of better quality

you can talk good all day about it but does it last and dont give people problem thats key. The big problem I have with this promaster is the gas pedal they build it so you have to push down instead of push from rear to front to increase gas. that's so uncomfortable and it will be a big problem if people have to do that all day. I just asking myself what the hell is going on with that kind of design movement? why?
