I am just a dude who loves to cook! I only started learning how to cook about 3 years ago in an attempt to impress my new girlfriend, and fell in love with creating delicious meals for myself and the people I love!
That new girlfriend who I learned to cook for 3 years ago is now my fiancé, and almost everything you see me cook is a meal for 2, for her and I. She also gifted me the "Chef BB" apron, which is my logo for the channel!
My hope is to introduce beginners to some cooking tips and concepts, and share recipes with anyone who's interested! You'll see me cook a lot of Hello Fresh meals, though I am not sponsored by them. When I am not cooking Hello Fresh meals I am usually scrounging around my house for random food I don't want to waste, and trying to make a delicious meal out of it!
My style of cooking can be very free flowing and improvisational. I don't love following recipes exactly, or measuring things in general. This makes cooking art-like and fun!

Homemade Nutella Uncrustable
Basically cut bread into circles, make a Nutella sandwich, crimp the edges, and then I lightly fried sides of uncrushable in butter to add some richness and a crispy texture. delicious!

How to Make Scrambled Eggs in a Cast Iron Pan (without them sticking)

A lot of people, when they make scrambled eggs in a cast iron pan, will experience some intense stickage of the egg to the pan, making for a very unpleasant cooking process. The basic technique to prevent that happening is to heat your cast iron until it starts to smoke, add a small amount of oil to coat the pan, and then add your butter and already beaten eggs, then mix until done!
Homemade Lunch Meat

I ran out of lunch meat, and had some regular meat at home (pork tenderloin), so I tried making my own lunch meat (it was a success).
Crispy Roast Potatoes

This is one incredible way to make some very crispy and delicious roast potatoes using fingerling potatoes. Basically I just boil them, crush them once they're soft, and then bake them in oil in a 450 degree oven. Once they're crispy and brown, pull them out of the oven and salt and season them, then you're all done!
Quick Chicken Breast

You can make a perfect chicken breast every time by doing these 3 things. Cut your chicken thin, sear in a very hot pan, and finish in an incredibly hot oven until the chicken is fully cooked. You'll have your chicken ready in as little as 7 minutes, or max 15 minutes depending on the size of the breasts.

If you're gonna fry a potato once, I say why not 2 more times? Frying potatoes 3 times produces the greatest potato food product you can imagine. Fluffy tender inside, and insanely crispy brown exterior with a delicious taste that you just can't get with a once or even twice fried potato.

A crispy fried egg is one of my favorite breakfast pieces. The crispy texture of the bottom and perfect firm whites and runny yolk make for the perfect fried egg.

This is the way to make the best French fries. Frying 3 times allows for the best removal of moisture from the potato creating the crispiest texture on the outside of the fry. The controlled temperature of the multiple fries also develops a complex fried potato flavor from the caramelization of the natural sugars in the potato.

Yeah man, the temp had nothing to do with them not sticking - it was the half bottle of olive oil and the stick of butter that did the work. Next time turn the heat down some and you won’t overcook your eggs!

@@jacobott3382 Salt and pepper is perfectly fine seasoning for eggs. Enjoy the actual flavor of eggs, you don't need to cover everything with a bunch of seasonings where you can't even taste the good anymore

Definitely don't give up! You could try miracle whip, mustard, tahini, or hummus. You could even make your own honey mustard, or use something like greek yogurt or sour cream and add spices to your liking!

@ peeling the skin off of a cooked onion is way more difficult than a raw one. There were lots of little bits of skin left behind in the video

pretty much how i do it, i usually eat the drumstick thigh and wing as one meal, and then again as another meal and with the breasts i'll either make a couple chicken sandwiches out of them or turn them into chicken salad.

You can’t activate yeast in a fridge it’s cold it has to be done at room temperature or warmer that’s why it didn’t rise leave on your counter top for an hour after you kneed it

Do the frozen buns work better than room temp breadcrumbs and milk? I realize the frozen buns would add moisture from being frozen. I just think milk would be better than water.

The answer to the above is I just used ingredients I had on hand haha. I did not have milk, nor regular bread, so used chicken stock and grated the frozen bun lol. Definitely out of the ordinary, and may be better with milk and regular bread!
