풀놋치로 과속한 정기관사 정씨에게 금고형이 확정되었다.
Between the sea of Conrail blue, 8 diesel lashups with DPUs/helper units, cabooses (cabeese?), and the absolute multitude of SD40- and GP40-type locomotives, this is a historic video that feels so nostalgic.
풀가속으로 운전한 정기관사 정씨에게 업무상과실치사 혐의가 인정되면서 금고1년이 선고되었다.
Enjoyed it .
Those old N&W Leslie S5T/RS5T-RFs might be the best sounding train horns ever
never mind you showed the n and w over I 77 thank you very much
doesn't any 1 know what railroad owned that bridge that gos over top of interstate 77 in Virginia or west Virginia I've lookingn at it for years while driving trucks and thought I even seen a train on it
It was originally Virginian Railway for what it’s worth
Excellent Video

Neff Video in the Late 90s And Early 2000s was the stuff
Very cool and interesting film
Very good film Took me back memorie lane. The 70s
Thanks for posting. I have this one and “Part 2 - The N&W” on vhs. JMJ Productions did outstanding work for the day.
Sure do miss all the action at East Deerfield back in the B&M days. Took me a while to shine up to Guilford but never will with NS.
Those Locomotives Will Never Retire
You Tube sucks excuse my language but Fuck You Tube with all them commercials and stealing money from people so they won't put any commercials they need to think of a better way to make money instead of interrupting the video 🖕sit on this You Tube
Fascinating video. i enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing it.
Prime mover?, What's wrong with Engine or Motor? Hmm. Just saying.
@@tpep1693 contact Caterpillar, the parent company to EMD nowadays, and explain your frustration to them.
Maine Central got all those ex- Rock Island U-25b's. Some wound up in Guilford colors. Maybe someday some smart guy can explain how the sum total of The Rocks parts was so much more valuable than The Rock itself.

Im surprised it didnt have bristol Tennessee bristol virgina on here thats wheir nw rails ran down to an meet the soithern railway at
Alan Fisher should turn this into a vapor-wave mix
That was a great video
Miss the days of Guilford @ East Deerfield. Always a great variety of power. But I would still much prefer the bluebirds of the B&M.
풀놋치로 폭주한 정기관사 정씨에게 유죄가 인정되면서 금고형이 선고되었다.
This is probably my favorite era of UP. Love the variety of new EMD and GE products on the mainline. Better yet, CNW and SP are still independent.
Want to see a mine truck in close proximity of these trains
Those Locomotives Should Be Reproduced
Same
Back before: Ditch lights were required on road engines, or any train exceeding 20mph. Stenciling on the wheel frames were required fuel logs were kept so an accurate amount of spillage could be formulated Track warrants were used, making DTC blocks a relic and making verbal authority a little safer. I remember so much of this stuff from when I hired out and have seen so many changes! Situations like this where the changes were necessary to prevent or minimize a repeat.
I worked for a large grocery company and I did a lot of work with Conrail using them to haul piggy backs from Ohio to near Boston. I got two invitations to ride this train. One was from Boston to Springfield and back and the other was from Hartford Ct. to Stanford Ct. and back. On the first trip I was in the cab of 4021. Had to walk through both engines while we were in route. It was very loud.
Great video !!!! LUV the sound of those E-8's !!!!!!!!
Title made me think something else.
Thanks for this! Very interesting video. I have a friend that used to work at Diesel Division-London.
You have a lot of cool videos for rail fans.
i never knew that Extra track lining the Galt sub was a test track for GM, they rebuilt the crossing to remove the test track, and the rails to the east side of the crossing are pinched
24:44 A trip to the refurbisher❓ Maybe for 7564 but 8475 looks like it's done. But! Both returned to service. I wish I could see that. Would be interesting to see 8475 get restored as bad as that was.
Any railway footage shot in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario? Like on the CP Rail line from Soo to Sudbury?
I used to drive by this factory visiting family in London, and saw a few brand new locos parked out front. I don't think it's around anymore though 😐
It's never a good thing when two trains moving in opposite directions on the same track try to have CSX with each other!!?!
At 1:33, that guy had a death wish 😂
Well I Learned Something Thanks 😊
That Trunion Is Something For Turning The Pieces To Work On 😊
Too dark to appreciate
35:27 Hawker-Siddeley cab car brass bell. The sound is very hard to find online.
there's different bell manufacturers?
@@mile290productions3 pretty sure. The bells on the early cab cars do not sound like standard EMD bronze bells (such as those on the GP40TC and F units)
Back when GO trains were only 4 coaches long you could really get up to 83 mph between some stops .
I was on a GO single level cab car in 1987 or 1988 and could see through the window to see the controls and the speedometer. The fastest speed I read was 83 MPH westbound between Danforth Station and Union. I don't remember which type of locomotive was pushing at the other end but was a pre-F59PH so a 500-515 or 700-726 with a FP7 for HEP. The F59PH locomotive became the workhorses of the fleet in the 1990s and 2000s but the assorted types of locomotives and vast variety of the consists were gone.
I worked at that plant for more than 30 years. It was a great job
which locomotive was your favorite?
The old SD70 and 80s. They were simply and easy to build later on SD 90 were all computerized
@@leendersc heck yeah! I honestly love the SD full cowl locomotives. recently purchase a SD40-2W, but the SD40-2F is just as amazing.
It was fun to watch when Inwas in New England in 1994 along the Gulford Railroad lines. One never could guess what would be the locomotives the train consist.
Wow
