I am nat an expert ... but size of the wing also matters if you wan to try with 100cc ... I suggest not to try.

@deepakingole I want to build one made of aluminum that can carry only one person. Do you think an engine between 100cc and 150cc would work, or would it not be enough?

@@TheDAVE858 good idea … this is like almost no flying zone and it was informed that we are flying there but it does not mean that I had to enter in the cloud … I was not aware about the area. I should have edited entrance and exit from the cloud … thanks for your valuable comment.

I use application horizon but sometimes the target airport is not visible ... something like finding tiny niddle so I use WAZE basis on current location sent on WhatsApp ... and in order to search that I didn't had other option ... thanks for really valuable comment and will always remember situational awareness while flying.

I did it once by mistake ... and then many times well controlled ... but this was the worst ... I was perhaps overconfident, not aware about the area... ... this incident taught me a lot.

... about situational awareness and thermaling up to the edge of the cloud rather than the center, I'll guess. But hey, glad you're o.k. Theres no place like cloudbase. It's so surreal flying under them, especially in the wispies.

It was cold but I didn't pay attention to it as I was scared and well focused on escape route .... I am flying in Central America on warm conditions .. it might be approx 18 degree cel..

I keept flying with for 15 odd minutes .. normally spiral flying is the best way to get rid. I didn't tried because of heavy turbulence.

hang gliders and even low performance plane sometimes have problems where the updraft strength near cloudbase exceeds their abilities wrt sink rate. the nucleus pulls humid airs from nearby and goes upwards with force to form big cloud. the force is tremdeous and climb is uncontrollable with heavy turbulence. that is called "cloud suck".

fast moving upward air that can suck you up so high you wont know weather to freeze or suffocate first. sometimes you might even get beaten to death by hail in the storm cloud.

If you fly a hang glider too close to a cloud, it'll suck you right off. It's orgasmic.

cloud suck is an EXCUSE for poor flight planning - and getting in to the situation in the first place. it's something that was well recognised as long ago as the early 1970s ......... sakes. PILOT STUPIDITY

@@deepakingole It is also a big concern for sailplanes . Especially if your spoilers are not VNE liminting. I flew under a towering cu a couple of years ago about 3000' below the base. My vario was pegged at 1000 fpm up . ( probably more ) I knew that this was not going to end well if I let myself get to cloudbase so I headed towards the " blue ". I was climbing so fast I had to do more. I sped up but as it was quite turbulent I did not want to go too fast so I opened my spoilers halfway at 80 knots. This slowed my climb to 800' fpm ,then I just kept flying to clear air where I left the cloud below cloudbase. Just discovered your channel. Some great videos here .
