First of all, this is by far the best part of the film. It’s extraordinary in its power for such a short segment. But what’s most incredible is that Kurosawa was pretty much blind making his last few films and yet still managed to create something as brilliantly visual as this.

I have seen this, I liked this. I was amazed. That's it, end of the story. Then I met someone, and she made me watch it again. No, she didn't send me the link and made me watch. I have seen this in her personality. She likes Van Gogh, she notices the white clouds surfing in the vast blue sky, she feels the same hurry, so much to do but so little time. She talks about dreams, she notices the beauty around her. The scene that looks like a painting doesn't make a painting. If you take the time to notice, all of nature has her own beauty. Yes, She is beautiful. But it takes me time and effort to notice how spectacular she is. I lose myself in her, I consume her thoughts, I devour it completely and whole. I want to understand her more than she knows herself. I told her that the mirror is the best observer. Seems like I need to change my stance, people can't see their back in the mirror. But a painter sees what people himself cannot. I know it's so difficult to hold it together, especially when we are young. People grow together and then they grow apart. When it's over, I will come here again and tell you people who dreamt it better, me? or Kurosowa.? Until then.. I am dreaming Tonight she is turning into eighteen. I know age is just a number, but still, it's a milestone. I hope she will make her life on her own choices. It will be a wonderful artwork.
