Cashing in My Treasure Chest Full of Spare Change!!!!! Over 21 years of spare change collecting!!!!!
This is a quick video that I created to show the viewers how much money I collected inside of a treasure chest I purchased at a grocery store on a whim. I started throwing change in the chest in late 2002 and finally decided it was time to go down to my credit union and run it through their coin machine. They didn't even charge me a fee since I am a member! Winning! This one was fun to make and brought back a plethora of memories about the last 21 plus years and how my life has changed. Thanks for checking it out.

มุมมอง 15419 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
This is a short documentary of my day hike to San Gorgonio Summit via the Vivian Creek Trail in July of 2024. The popular opinion is that is is the toughest route with the most elevation gain of the shortest distance.
The Lost Coast Trail Hike

This was our father daughter hike of The Lost Coast Trail in Northern California. We started at Mattole Beach and ended at Black Sands Beach near Shelter Cove.
Inner Loop Trail Wildwood Canyon Park
มุมมอง 39หลายเดือนก่อน
This is one of the most popular trails in Wildwood Canyon park. A little over 4 miles with close to 850ft of elevations gain. The elevation gain is gradual and is very doable hike for kids and adults. It is not uncommon to come across deer and other wildlife on this loop. Also a preferred trail for horseback riders. The trail is located just outside Oak Glen, Ca.
Wildwood Canyon Ridgeline Loop
มุมมอง 482 หลายเดือนก่อน
Wildwood Canyon Ridgeline loop near Oak Glen, Ca. Rated a "hard" climb by All Trails, it has 2,000 ft of elevation gain and the loop is about 7.5 miles in length. Wonderful full views of the entire park along the ridge line and the majority of the hike along the ridge is exposed. This hike was completed in May of 2024.
Pushawalla Palms Hike Loop
มุมมอง 423 หลายเดือนก่อน
A great hike for the family near the Coachella Valley Preserve just outside of Thousand Palms, California. It is about 4.5 miles and 750 feet of elevation gain.

Family tram to Idyllwild hike April 2022
มุมมอง 812 ปีที่แล้ว
Our little sojourn to Idyllwild April of 2022. There was a lot more snow than we anticipated early on! This is our first posted video as we are a little late to the youtube game!
Bro you could of bought a nice counter for the money that machine skimmed off the top!
@@M-mj8bd lolololol you may be right!
You didn't search for silver and rarities first? Sad, you lost a lot of money.
@@donaldhoot7741 my daughter sorted through. I pulled some stuff out so not sad at all.
Hi Mr. DiBella
@@guiroschannel9580 hello!!!!
dimes, quarters, half dollars made from 1964 and before are 90% silver. the coin is about 20x its face value. half dollars made from 1965-1970 are 40% silver. Nickels from 1942-1945 are made with 35% silver
I didn’t know that. That’s great info. Thanks!
1959 quarter is worth $5
The coin star machines reject silver quarters (different weight) like the 1959 shown at the end. A silver quarter today is worth a little over 5 bucks. I found a gold 20 franc value $400 dollars about a month ago in the reject bin at my local Albertson's. All of our pre 1965 dimes, quarters, and half dollars contain 90% silver content in them for reference.
That’s good to know. I had no idea. That’s awesome you found that Franc in the bin, that is quite the find. Thanks for the info!
@@thehikingpaisano6109 You are very welcome. I do usually find silver dimes but the gold was certainly a welcome surprise.
That’s winning!!!
Look for silver
He probably looked for silver as he added coins to the chest.
My daughter likes to sort through the coins looking for extra value. I was happy she liked the sorting.
WOW!!!!!
Hi Mr DiBella
Hello!!!!’
Nice 1952 silver quarter it spit out!!
Yes, I ran it through a couple of times and thought maybe I was getting a message sent and should hold on to it.
@@thehikingpaisano6109 Yeah thats a keeper.
Nice!
@@thehikingpaisano6109 Yeah the quarters from 1964 are worth $5 and dimes are worth $3 ish hopefully you picked them all out
My 12 year old daughter loves rare coins and fished some out that she said has some “extra” value. there was over 14,000 coins in all so some may have slipped through but hopefully not too many. Thanks for taking the time to check the video out.

I remember that Treasure Chest!

HI, I appreciate the detailed video as this will come in handy. This hike is on my list.
Thank you, this is definitely a bucket list hike! Glad the video was useful.
Super interesting!!! Beautiful coastal film. I feel like I'm there! Thank you for sharing and posting! And.......hugs to both of you, love aunt d
Thank you Aunt Donna. We had an awesome time. She already wants to hike it again!!!
Saw your post on AllTrails. Nice video! Can this be done in a day? What do you do about transportation back to the beginning?
Thank you! I’ve heard of it being done in a day but the tides in the impassable zone would have to cooperate. You may have to start at an off time to do that. Transportation back to Black Sands can be tricky. I’ve read about hikers doing “key swaps” with other hikers who are hiking the Lost Coast from the opposite direction. I would be cautious about leaving a car at Mattole. There have been reports of break ins there. I bet if you call the shuttle service in the link, they would bring you back. I know they do at least 2 shuttles each day to Mattole from Black Sands. Traditionally, people like the North to South hike because the winds which can be strong are at their backs. Hope this helps and thanks for checking out the video!! Happy trails!
