    My meniscus tear didn't seem extreme, as it was nearly horizontal, leaving a sandwich stack that added up could act as the original thickness. But the doc said to expect 6 to 12 months before healing. And so it goes. 6 months later it is just starting to feel a little better, but the swelling is still substantial. I take it from your message that I've just tried to overdo the rehab. With just indoor rowing, biking and hiking I hoped to be easy enough on it while staying fit. I take it I just need to do less. You think?

So what is going on and do I not need chiropractic but some other treatment? What can I do then instead of keep spending money on chiropractic? Is there a better way. Is it just in my head, etc.?

    I've had recon surgery over 6-7 years ago. Didn't physio properly, and reinjured it 2 years ago. I've been going gym consistently for the last 8 months. It feels a lot stronger, and the clicking has been reduced. I still get instability issues and it feels like my new ACL gets pulled when imbalanced. Is there a way to perhaps increase its flexibility? It feels rigid if that means anything. I also have hyperextension, but the reconstructed knee does not hyperextend as much as my other knee. Should I work to increase flexibility to hypertension?

    Who prescribed knee surgery (buckling, limited mobility knee due to injury). Most doctors are just randomly guessing and I am tired hearing their bull****. Oh you have a Gout history then there is your answer. After a couple of xrays, MRI. Well after MRI 1 added it was a PVNS + GOUT. Keep asking do I need surgery for PVNS and all they said was NO because of Gout. And now due to this random buckling or giving out knee was rush to ER and diagnosed for seizure/ lose of consciousness after answering their questions. After bossing me around like can you lay down here, can stand and move to the other push cart bed thingy and lastly inside the ER to stand up again and walk to the bed for testing. After the testing or whatever handed me some papers for following consultation and the exit is right over there. A couple weeks later $10k+ owed.

    Hi doctor. I had miniscus repair surgery almost 5 weeks ago. I still have some pain on it , especially when I do certain exercises or when I wake up in the mornings , feels stiffed . I can walk slowly and I’m fine, and heating pack does make it feel better. Is this normal in the heeling process ? I’m worried that I reinjured the miniscus . Thank you .

    Thank you! You mentioned that you shouldn't do the steroid injections early in this condition. Can you please provide the sources of this claim? As Pr Jeremy Lewis, one of the leading shoulder physiotherapist in the field, reccomrnds it . However, they are only "effective" in the first frozen stage. So, if you don't do them at this time stage, they are not recommended at a later. Can you please provide a comment with the back up? Many thanks 😊

    • @circa1890
      @circa1890 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you do get a steroid injection, make sure it's guided with camera or ultrasound, etc. Less than 4 in 10 injections are properly done and can make the problem worse. See if you can find guided hydrodilatation (30mL mix of saline, anesthesia, and steroid). According to the scientific journals.. this is the most effective treatment.
