Rollersets been keeping that curl patter ALIVE! Beautiful video! I’ve been doing them weekly or every two weeks since finding ur channel and baybeeee my hair looks phenomenal every day, and when summer comes I’ll still be able to rock my curls! I stopped using foam tho, i felt whatever brand i had made my hair too stiff, i use a water leave in that’s also a heat protectant….then an aerosol heat protectant before i press my root. Idk how yall film these wash day videos it’s so much work, i tried, but I’ve only done it once successfully.

I really loved watching this. Getting tips plus your voice is soothing. Think I’m going to try a roller set (for the first time) this weekend. Not sure if I want to do a ponytail roller set or traditional since my hair is so thick and kinky.

Yup, yup YUP! I'm a type 3 who does the same. For me it reduces tangles, thus promotes growth (if you can say that, since my hair only grows 1/4 inch per month anyway).

Great job! I, too am on a recovery journey from heat damage/damaged ends. Plus, I tried those thermal ceramic rollers I mentioned awhile ago... darling those thing did nothing more than bend my ends. This was after 30 minutes under a dryer. Well, lesson learned.. I think. I may give them another try but with a styling/smoothing gel. Mostly from now on, just traditional "magnetic" rollers. 🙃
