3-5 days prior, we cleaned the backyard of all branches, twigs, and hundreds of pinecombs. That was a Tuesday. Wednesday, the grass was cut. The backyard was beautiful. Thursday (last night), the storm rolled in, and this morning, this is the aftermath. Now we have to do this again!

Carolina cross seeds are always white! The black ones aren’t Carolina Cross, I grow Carolina Cross for watermelon competition and have been for 15 years, they’re always white! The black ones are probably a cultivar that resembles Carolina Cross, like Jubilee, crimson sweet, or Dixie Queen!

Thank You for bringing that to my attention. It is holding up great. I will post that information as soon as possible (currently pouring down rain). Have a great day! This is the 2nd year and It's hold up great...have had several bad storms with no problems!
The buds look like they have been pollinated so you will have fruit. This looks fine if it was grafted and we can't see the grafted root then it's planted too deep. In a week or so might want to lightly fertilize for the sake of the fruit
