I think this was the best story but it was pretty messed up.
This is, in my honest opinion, the only soundtrack that is a hundred percent 80's, and I love it. 😎

I’m 37 this really takes me back to fun times when movies were raw fun and creepy
Final shot of the Gargoyle statue holding its two children combined with this music still haunts me to this day.
It also haunts me for years I had nightmares when I was young it still in my head I can't think about it or it stay there until I have to watch it hate it only way to forget about it and it haunt me to this day as will

I saw this in theaters when i was 8 as i grew up with the show in the late 80s and couldn't wait for the movie since it was announced in fangoria the previous year. This and Tales from the Hood and Body Bags are the most underrated 90s horror anthology films

Yes, this was the actual Creepshow 3. Fact is, "The Black Cat" story was supposed to have been in Creepshow 2 but they didn't have the financing for it at the time. Tales from the Darkside television series oddly enough is a spinoff from the original Creepshow movie. They were going to do a Creepshow television spinoff but decided to retitle and sell it as Tales from the Darkside. As the Tales television series was quite popular as it lasted 4 season, the producers decided to instead retitle Creepshow 3 as Tales from the Darkside in order to capitalize on the TFTD show popularity. Basically, Creepshow is Tales from the Darkside and Tales from the Darkside is Creepshow. It's all good.
Now they have a Creepshow series. This is everything that 2006 in name only piece of shit posing as Crepshow 3 should had been
So instead of that massive tome the kid would have been narrating / describing the pages of a comic book from his own back pocket or something?
got the movie on dvd and lovers vow was my fave story. great soundtrack, great actors and out of this world special effects. i love prostetic make up and carolas transformation from woman to gargoile is just as good as jeff goldblums brundlefly.
