It's a song I've never really paid much attention to, but at the end of The Affair it all just clicked. Very apt and made the ending perfect. This version is amazing.

I have been looking to buy this version and cannot find it anywhere

Loved the ending of the Affair. Noah being 30 years older, he was even more handsome and humbled in the end. Reading a chapter from a book to Helen at her gravesite, then walking with his cane, being older up on the cliff. Didn't expect him to dance alone, but it was the best finale for his character. Gosh, hope I can meet someone who resembles Noah's character in real life.

I always said some songs should never be covered as they are just so perfect as they are. Imagine and American pie for example. I thought 'Whole of the moon' fell into this category, i was wrong. Simply haunting.

Fiona Apple version of this song is breathtaking. I cried watching the final scene of the Affair. Her singing voice captured every emotion in the series. Powerful

If you begin, sometimes in the 2nd or 3rd season, to understand the deap meaning of this amazon masterpiece, you will start to reflect your own life. I had the first time on tv (better on the cloud) the impression to be a part of the family of Noah and Helen Solloway. Marvellous. Last but not least, the 5th season is the best I ever saw on Amazon, great cinema with great actors and a very great end scene of this masterpiece. I really hope that this will not be the absolutely end of "The Affair" ...

This final scene proved how great The Affair was. Fiona Apple is an amazing songwriter and despite the fact that she did not write this song, her ear for great music is apparent in everything she does. And this version is even better than the original in my opinion.

I have loved this song since I first heard in 1980 (Written by Michael Scott and performed by the Waterboys) even Bob Dylan had said that a better song can’t be written. As much as I love it this song always breaks my heart a little. A magnificent piece of music

Did anyone else pick up that the last scene with Noah, was the same path that he and Allison were running along after they almost got caught using some random jacuzzi in season 3 or 4, I think.
