@LifeBeginsOnTheWater awesome Billy,... Believe me I've often thought about 3000 miles over the Atlantic on a ski, 😆 and the massive snake-like fuel tank I'd need to tow, haha. I don't think it would be fun for too long if the wind picks up or it's in pitch black. Has anyone ever tried it on a jetski I wonder. Rowing takes a couple of weeks I know that much, "if you are lucky" it's a dodgy game, I respect the sea, and try use my noodle. Maybe one day I'll join you guys for a ski tour, you never know. 😎👍

😬 3000 miles, I wouldn’t think anyone even had giving it a thought 🤣😜. I have done 5-6,000 miles during the year in total. Several times actually, with that being said it took 12 months! Would love for you to join us one day! Till then brother

@LifeBeginsOnTheWater maybe more than 3, by the time I came from the east of Scotland, over to Florida and around the pan handle and up again. Probably make more sense to buy another one local to you, and just fly and pretend I'm a normal person. 🤣

@ You’re probably right about that 😉. Good friend of ours is from Scotland. He’s pretty heavy into Seadoo’s and the performance side. @ I live in South Louisiana, not much difference in temperatures from JD. He has it a little warmer for sure. Heat & hurricanes 🌀 our biggest danger for sure. You don’t see as many sharks 🦈 as you would think. Just goes to show you way more water on this planet 🌎

No we sure aren’t sucking up sand. The water around Crab Island is generally 2.5-3’ ft. I’m very anal when it comes to keeping our skis looking good and not sucking up stuff through the pump. Actually Gina’s impeller/prop is still the original 700+ hrs! Yes, Gina rides a 2016 Kawi 310R

@LifeBeginsOnTheWater on the phone here... It looks like it's approaching the limit, you know how the ground and water changes... But if you know the place well and are not a completely drunken idiot, you will manage just fine. Glad you care about your machines, too many folks have too much money and don't care about their skis... That's not me,... I'm an appreciative peasant that cares. 🙂👍

@@LifeBeginsOnTheWater 96 hours on my one... Time to winterise it now. I maybe do a video running antifreeze through it, liquimoly oil the cylinders, and supercharger, spray the belts and take the battery out. I maybe do a video on the process.

I was sitting close to where you were in 1991 on my first jetski. Had shut it off and just enjoying the solitude. A dolphin jumped out of the water like Sea World to my left and very close. Scared the crap out of me! Always great to see dolphins!

@@exploringourwaterways Pretty damn good going 2’-3’ chop nothing bad 3hrs crossing at 25-30 mph steadily. Crossing back 7 days later 1.5 - 2’ footers 2hrs. Lite work for sure!
