Speed Bleeder bleeder screws have a spring loaded ball bearing that prevents any air getting into the brake lines. Loosen them 3/4 turn when bleeding. Handy for one person working… 😀

This info is just what I need for my 2003 Tahoe single axle trailer with DB-42 disc calipers. My calipers are on with 2 bolts and the back of the wheel well makes getting the bottom bolt out almost impossible. I'm going to try a nano low profile socket they are only .9 inches thick/tall. The clips/wire were baffling to me until your vids. My hub spins with a slight scrape too and my rotor face looks dark not shiny, think it is worn?Wish me luck!

Per the UFP owners' manual and user instructions, you are supposed to bleed the air out of the master cylinder itself before bleeding the lines on the trailer. This is done by making short strokes with the actuator rod until no air bubbles are coming from the small orifice in the master cylinder. The manual can be found online and downloaded. Also, most folks who work on their own stuff would use a funnel to add the fluid. Most folks don't usually have a syringe lying around. Just saying.....

Love my PTI 30 but one issue. The anti reverse clutch bearing assembly is slipping. My bail so far has been fine so far. I love how solid it feels, and has been great up to this point, and I have the 750 PTI energy Baitcaster to match.

You should never use brake fluid after it’s been open and sitting for longer then 90 days or so. Gathers moisture. Probably why you have that rust.
