I also had a hard time to understand, but it's simpler than I thought : you should go to google, search for your company (you must be connected to your company account), and then you'll have options showing under the search bar at the left, you need to click on "booking" and then you can add your link (it takes few days to show on google) !

Same here. Every edit I make needs me to open a formal technical complaint and it takes a few weeks for it to update.

Sometimes if it says not approved, just wait for 24 hours or so and it might get approved afterwards. If not then try changing the image size to 720px x 720px

That's a good point and an interesting question, Marie! Depending on where you are looking at your post, the appearance will change. For example, posts might appear perfectly on your mobile device but will have that strange black border on a desktop. It even depends on your browser as well! Google has not changed the recommend aspect ratio, 3:4 or 1200x900px.

I’ll experiment more on this one because I do check my posts on both desktop and mobile view but they do still get cropped into a square image in the final post (720x720px?). Just pasting a link I came across: support.google.com/business/answer/6103862?hl=en “Photo guidelines Your photos look best on Google if they meet the following standards: Format: JPG or PNG. Size: Between 10 KB and 5 MB. Recommended resolution: 720 px tall, 720 px wide. Minimum resolution: 250 px tall, 250 px wide.” Maybe it’ll also help others. 👍🏼😊

@@gmbgorillaseo Hey you guys! GMB made an update on their search interface and the crop function on there has now been added. No more worries about my images not fitting! 🙂

@@Marie-wd7fr I think one difference here is that we were talking about posts/updates. It sounds like you were referring to images uploaded to the profile. I'm glad you got it resolved!

@@gmbgorillaseo hello! Yes, I’m also referring to the updates where I click ‘add update’ on the now-search page view of gmb. I swear that after they let us work on the search page and not on the Business Profile Manager, the crop image button was not there for some time. It just randomly cropped my images to a square. So when I found your video, I thought that adjusting the image size would help. Anyway, this is now resolved - thank goodness Google put back that crop image button. 😊

Unfortunately, the new UI us being pushed hard by Google. We have discovered that it is possible to get to the old dashboard by going through the photos but it is currently unreliable.

@@gmbgorillaseo Thank you for responding , i have to say , i am slightly getting used to it , my main issue is that i can no longer reply to reviews same old way ( which was much easier now you have to do it 1 at a time , for pple like me who gets 100~150 reviews daily it is really time consuming ) as our reply is based on each star review ) overall i am able to use everything else quite good )

Hey there, Francesca! Google can reject links based off of the site that you are linking to! Make sure Google doesn't consider your site to be spammy in some way. Otherwise, we have seen Google reject links on posts based on having "#" in the link. Try a more generic link!

This is a tough one to find! Log into your dashboard using business.google.com. Next, right click and "copy" the link where it says "view your business on Google" into your notepad. Your business id will be after "place?id=___" I think I will make a quick video about this to help others!

Thanks for the question, Momo. Your business category will affect your ability to add a delivery button. If you need, you can add a new category that also suits your business. Food related business categories get a delivery button!

We've found that sometimes Google doesn't show the management options. Try these two things. First, make sure you are logged in to the correct account! Google will sometimes automatically switch between your different accounts. Second, navigate to business.google.com to see your business that your account manages.

You are going to then want to add services areas to your profile and then hide your address! We have multiple videos detailing this process, or you send us an email and we can help you further!

Otherwise, different kinds of verification tend to be MUCH faster than the post card method these days. If you can verify by phone or email, I recommend going with that. Google has changed the postcard from 5 to 14 days.

If you can't see the a field for adding an appointment, it likely has to do with the business category that you've selected! Make sure your business category is accurate and try again!

That's a good question, Dougie! Google will often reject posts and not tell you why they are not being accepted. Be sure to note things like phone numbers, websites or emails in the copy content- these are considered to be spammy by Google. We have had a post be rejected before based solely on a link having a "#" in it. The links you choose for "learn more" or similar buttons can affect postability. Check for good links and finally make sure that your image design is following Google's guidelines for content! Hopefully that helps!🌴🦍🌴🤙

Good question, Jaafar! When you log in using business.google.com, on the left hand side of the dashboard at the bottom of the menu you can see the "settings" option. When you click there, you can choose what notifications are sent to your email! 🌴🦍🌴

@@gmbgorillaseo Oh and, nother question , is there anyway to filter Q&As by date ? because they appear in a random order and have to search them up and it is a time waste since there is over 200+ Q&A to look up

@@jaafarmhammad2719 That's another good question! In this case, there is no way to organize the questions/answers differently. HOWEVER, when you are looking at the Q&A section you can use CTRL+F or CMD+F to search the page for a specific word.
