I would like to believe that Shouto and Deku are the bestest friends of My Hero. I don’t understand why people still think Bakugou is Deku Bestfriend when all bakugou has done was to hurt him. While I know Bakugou isn’t as antagonistic as before. It still doesn’t changed the fact that he has bullied and betrayed Deku friendship when they were kids. And don’t try to defend Bakugou saying that Deku stole his chance to become the number one hero and that Deku didn’t work as hard to be a hero as Bakugou. Deku did work *hard* he has to prove to himself and to everyone including to Bakugou that he was worthy of being a hero and to be worthy of All Might Quirk. Deku and Shouto are true friends. Deku help Shouto open his heart up more while Shouto reassured Deku he is worth it. Unlike Bakugou always tries to threaten and push him down. Again I know he changed a lot but the damaged has already been done and (spoilers) I know what happened in manga with Bakugou and Deku but I still don’t like Bakugou I respect him more but I don’t like him as person and his personality is still annoying but those are just surface level biases.

y'all dumb if you ship this. get mad at me, I'll find it funny. glamorizing toxic relationships isn't okay. Ueno would abuse Shokou.

Hmmm... It's actually possible that Todoroki could develop feelings for Deku. Think about it! Deku changed a lot in Todoroki and Todoroki is (I think) somehow fascinated/interested in him (Not in a romantic way, but more in a curious way). He could possibly grow an emotional attachment to him and later on in the story, maybe it could turn into something more. I headcanon Todoroki as either Demisexual (Only interested in someone if they have an emotional bond) or Demi-gay (Same with the definition with Demisexual but he's interested in guys). But I see Todoroki as more Demi-gay due to the fact that the best resemblance of him liking someone is with Deku. But keep in mind tho, what matters more is that if Deku will? Keep in mind that during the sports festival that Deku was just being Deku. He would do that to anyone regardless of who they are. P.S: I don't ship based on gender, I really don't care about that at all. I ship based on development. Throughout the show, I would have to say that Todoroki and Deku's relationship with each other is one of the relationships that has improved extravagantly throughout the show.
