These shocks aren't as bad as some people say. They could be a cheaper shock option for your 1/10 scale Traxxas truck. This is a $12 foam glider I bought from Hobby Lobby. ($7 with a 40% coupon). I converted it to an RC plane using spare electronics I had lying around. After the maiden flight, i can tell it has too much elevator for a relaxed glider, so i'll be shaving 1/4 inch off and see how it flies. also the motor is a bit over powered, so i'll move to a 5 inch prop instead of a 6, and cut the full throttle...
