The only thing I didn't like about this movie is that the mother despite caring so much for the family never got appreciation and love from Makoto just because she cheated.

I watched this movie on TH-cam, it saved me in many ways in my toughest time! But I can't find it anywhere now, can anyone help me with this?

Just now I finished watching this movie. I would say it's the reality of few students who undergo bullies and low self esteem. To be honest , no one can truly feel other's pain but Self harming isn't at all a solution.... never it was for those people's suffering. Like this guy found a true friend, surely everyone will find one :)

I love this movie.. the only thing that i didn't like in this movie is when Makoto pushed Shoko(that awkward classmate) in bed. What was he trying to do? Was he trying to tell her that he can be a bad guy too?

This movie is amazing

So sweet, I love this.

As the MPAA has not rated this film, I will take it upon myself. This film would receive (from me) a PG-13 for Brief Intense Violence, Peril, Thematic Elements, and some suggestive content. If you’re a parent I still recommend this film, it’s far better for families (despite the rating) than most modern Hollywood films aimed at families. It’s thoughtful, intriguing, heartfelt, but it doesn’t stray away from the darker elements of nature. The Political themes are dealt with far more grace and nuance than most Western films these days. The score is masterfully composed by the late Shinohara Keisuke and adds a great richness to the picture. However, some of the content is not appropriate for younger children. Also, beware! There are some...undertones...in this film, just so you know.
