This is a video with entertainment purposes. We are exploring cs_backalley in CS 1.6 listening for ambience and soundscapes which are included in the map, and also this video is made with nostalgical purposes ;)
I never knew that combine are very strong to enter and kill all his species
ngl Nihilanth - for being so intelligent - maked the worst decision possible. Ye, maked, because fk grammar. "Okies, so the eeeeevuuuul Combine invaded my world and chased us away, hence, imma gonna do the same to another race." Yep, totally not eeeeeevuuuuul.
and what would be better decision? Nihilant was captured by the combine and experimented, he escaped and then hide in other world, creating himself an army to defend against combine, but then humans ruin his plans.
@@Tam1lo Um...negotiation with humans instead of releasing all his monsters onto Earth?
@@TheLambdaTeam a rather funny decision considering humans are no better than combine for in his view, especially considering he calls them thieves.
There’s also the possibility that nihilanth isn’t exactly in the best of mind. Desperate, deathly afraid of being found and very likely hostile to anything he deems even remotely a threat, he isn’t exactly in the mood to bargain or negotiate. Not to mention black mesa has been to xen a couple times, and judging by the dead bodies we find in xen, nihilanth wasn’t too friendly nor willing to talk

This map and cs_747 and de_survivor I literally LOVED. This maps had soul in it. It was very climatic.

This, cs_survivor and de_storm are probably the most atmospheric, nostalgic and forgotten maps in CS
I agree, I was thinking about making other ambience videos about cs 1.6 maps, but I'm too lazy now.
@@gsmmilko iirc, there are lots of other good maps in the earlier versions of CS, such as cs_arabstreets, or de_vegas. Would’ve been nice to make some ambience type of vids for them too
