    Why are they being so dogmatic about aviation safety, physics, and aeronautics when they are against universal truth and dogmatic fundamentalism? Everyone needs to decide their own aviation safety for themselves and not have to listen to the coercive dictates of faux authorities like "the designer" telling them "the right way" to do it.

    I dont understand how no universalists ever speak of the ones losing their souls and how they could be saved. Not one. Thats like the most important thing you should try to defend if you dont believe in eternal damnation. Then how the damned are saved? (The ones who lost their soul)

      Noemie, maybe you haven't been listening. Many of us speak of the "rehabilitation of the age" that Jesus spoke of (not hell), where people who are lost in evil or practice harm towards others are rehabilitated in the purifying fires of God's love. @michaelcamp2134 You are not listening. People lose their soul. I lost mine. Universalists don't want to hear that. So they just dismiss it. God doesn't and cannot give new souls to the ones who lost it. That's why they are eternally lost.

    The biblical prophet Elijah has returned - "hear me now and believe me later" - as prophesied, and testifies: This "Christian Nationalist" movement is NOT Christian, but is anti-Christian, made possible largely because the false and judgmental "gospel" of Paul was adopted by the churches rather than "the words in red" TRUE "GOOD NEWS" of Yeshua One with Christ: "THE KINGDOM OF GOD WITHIN YOU," which cannot be escaped by belief - except in your imagination! Anti-Christ Trump and false prophet Musk are very delicious to the deluded, and the price will come due surely and swiftly that prophecy be fulfilled and lessons be learned.

    After the Agape Force. I fell into a false prophet charismatic church cult. Started by my best friend Mark Vander Stoep. Whom I met in my Senior Year of High School in 1974. I stayed in for 10 years. I was isolated. Controlled by witchcraft. Brain washed. Eventually I got out in 1986. But I was suffering from Schziophrenia and I didn't know it. I got into accidents on the Railroad and in order to keep my job. I admitted myself to a mental hospital in 1988. I was in and out for a year. I thought i was no longer saved. But God turned that all around in early 1989. I still suffer from PTSD and memories of the cult. I didn't deconstruct. But I don't relate well to Charismatic Churches and I'm very cautious about going to a lot of churches. For fear of being controlled and manipulated in Jesus Name.

    I was in the Agape Force in 1975. During the Heavy Shepherding. Discipleship movement. It was tough . But God did really begin a Good Work in me. Coming out of the rebellion against authority in the Hippie Movement in 1973. It did do a lot of good for me. I was 18 when I got saved. Was 20 when I was in the Agape Force. I guess God really began his work in me after I got baptized in water at 19. I'm 69 now and I remember when Keith died. It hurt. But I still love his books and songs. I don't have any regrets with what I went through. Looking back I think it was God's way of making a man after him out of me.

    Are you familiar with "Leaving the Message"? There are interconnected belief systems that may have influenced the early "JESUS PEOPLE ". Some splinter groups became cultic. Other groups were stabilized and got Truely grounded. I know, because I was one of them. But the bottom line is that "I know whom I believe and I'm convinced that HE is able to keep what I entrusted to him" Do you KNOW the LORD JESUS CHRIST or are you just looking for excuses Not Face the Truth about your own existence and why GOD Created you. Whether you believe it or not, JESUS died and paid the penalty for your sin so that you can Follow Him and Glorify Him in True Freedom and Truth. There's always going to be kooks, but it doesn't make the Father, Son and Holy Spirit less true and the Bible less reliable. The LORD has taught me over the years how to be wise and discerning which has everything to do with a surrendered life to the only one who truely knows everything about me because he made me. I serve out of my own free will.

I am sure that all 3 of you are aware of the "millstone warning" from Jesus about leading people astray.... Its time for YOU three to ask for forgiveness from our everloving God !!!

    • @michaelcamp2134
      @michaelcamp2134 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Denny. Do you think people get saved just to avoid hell? Sounds like a threat. Jesus did not actually teach hell. The original Greek words translated hell mean either a metaphor for corrective punishment (Genhena) or "rehabilitation for a time" (aionios kolasis). They have been mistranslated in 90% of Bibles. Why would Jesus command us to love our enemies because God does and then God it turns out does not love his enemies but sends them to hell? Most people have the love of God wrong. Love always leaves the door to forgiveness and repentance open.

    One of the most significant and resonating messages I ever heard was Keith Green's "Devotions or Devotion". I don't think everything he said was perfect, but I loved and still love his message that he put out there, but it also doesn't surprise me too much that these kinds of things went on behind the scene and I'm sorry to hear about you both being victimized by that. Us humans tend to leave destruction in our wake even when good intent is there. Just think about pretty much any writer or prophet in the bible. I think it's very possible that Keith was taken when he was to prevent the situation from worsening and possibly to keep his message relevant and mostly pure in helping people pursue and nurture genuine relationships with God and Jesus.

    • @michaelcamp2134

    • @Hayrange
      @Hayrange 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@michaelcamp2134 How do you think God worked in this situation, by what happened or by what didn't happen? I’m basing this idea on what actually happened. He obviously had a huge impact on millions of people during his life and since his death. According to these two women, things started getting a bit toxic at the ranch in Texas. Did they give any evidence that things were turning around and looking up before Green died? If you disagree with that, than wouldn’t you agree that had he not died and things continued to be toxic, that could have had a much larger counter-impact on the people who were hearing his message? It stinks that people came out of this with some emotional scars and trauma, but as you point out in your comment about “Texas is where the cults go”, you must know and recognize that the severity of this situation is not like the other cults you alluded to. If you do believe in God, do you believe he has any authority over our reality? If so, is it limited or total? I’m not trying to slight the topic of Greens death in the least or say it was deserved. But if God exists and can foresee circumstantial outcomes, than he would have known that there could have been some unresolved problems that Green wasn’t very aware of or at least not concerned enough with addressing. Keith’s life (and this sucks to mention), and even the timing of his death really solidified his message of loving God with all your heart to millions of people. Obviously none of us are perfect and you’ll find fault in anyone no matter what their message is, but that’s a pretty pure message nonetheless. I think it’s worth considering that if you say you believe or love someone, that you actually do, because there are a lot of people out there who will say they love God, who actually don’t. Aside from the eternal issues that it seems like you’re not interested at all in discussing, Green is also suggesting living in a reality where you’re not lying to yourself, because that’s just a terrible way to go through life thinking you are something that you’re not. So the way Green’s life was used and even the way it ended, I think it was a beautiful thing that had a profound impact in a lot of peoples lives. Would it have been better to let the toxicity continue or increase while he lived, while risking his message of loving God to millions of people? If not, than you should agree that this all worked out pretty well considering. And if you believe God is the author of all good things as it says "Every good gift and perfect gift is from above", than it would seem there is a lot more to this story than simply an accident.

      Totally agree. In fact, whole denominations and independent churches have pastors with next to no formal theological training... and most who do, have theological training from very conservative seminaries. Moreover, in my experience, even getting a degree from Fuller or some other more progressive evangelical seminary will not guarantee a good theological mind. Just look at C. Peter Wagner, Che Ahn, and the New Apostolic Reformation.

    The most common view before Augustine was Annihilation. Not Universalism or Eternal Conscious Torment. It seems to be the most direct reading of the bible from Genesis to Revelation anyway. I also believe in an intermediate state of Conscious souls until the resurrection and final judgement. My current theory is that Hades is where people reconcile their sins against other people. The rich man became the beggar in that place. While it doesn't say the extent of his time there, my guess is that it was as long as he passed by Lazerus. Then he would join Lazerus in Paradise/Abraham's bosom. As for the final judgement, it is our sin against God. If we are in Christ, we have been declared righteous. Without Christ, the wages of sin is death. But the 2nd death is that of the body and soul. Gahenna is a garbage dump outside Jerusalem. But I am convinced that Jesus uses it to symbolize the lake of fire. How could both body and soul be destroyed by the Romans?

    Hi Michael! I just ran across one of your videos (Religious Fact Check #6). And I came here to see your latest video. In this insane world, viewership tends to be inversely-proportional to the quality of information, which says a lot for you. (Myself as well.) I'm the prophesied return of the biblical prophet Elijah, who the New Testament tells you also came as John the Baptist - and as the Old Testament hints, also came as Moses. (Elijah returned to Horeb to commune with GOD where Moses had done so, and parted the Jordan River as Moses had parted the Red Sea.) And now, I and my discarnate soul-twin, my late wife Rose - who works with me from the realm of Spirit - come as the two witnesses of Revelation 11. (My name Thomas Rhodes basically means "Twin Rose.") You have no reason to believe any of this, so you will not and should not. But one who is wise will investigate (as very few do!). And you will find nothing but support. The Gospel of Thomas is wonderful and gives much insight. I quote from it often in my works. As the earliest accepted New Testament writer, Paul's imperfect understanding caused him to corrupt the "Gospel" of Jesus Christ, which is GOOD NEWS beyond what most Christians dare imagine. But it can easily be gleaned from "the words in red," if those words are prioritized. (Imagine that; prioritizing the words of JC!) But despite all of the corruptions, absolutely everything in this world is part of GOD's perfect design, which ensures the salvation of every soul. Salvation from WHAT? Salvation from LIMITATION, which is self-imposed, truth be known. GOD made me a simple man, because Truth IS simple. "To know any of it is to know all of it," GOD says. And knowledge comes only through personal EXPERIENCE, which is why Gnosticism was the original form of Christianity. But organization always corrupts, because the lowest common denominator of human beings is the selfish human EGO, which the Bible calls: the serpent, the beast, the devil, satan, the prince of this world, the god of this world, and the anti-Christ. Christianity became a demagogue's Cult of Personality, with the ultimate result that many "Christians" support an ego-possessed man, an anti-Christ named Donald Trump. Yeshua One with Christ was simply a man who remembered Spirit and overcame the ego. And that's what we will all do, in time, for that is time's only purpose. And GOD's purpose cannot fail!

    😢 How very sad, y’all have turned from the faith and are headed to an eternal Hell. Chuck Smith started Calvary Chapel churches. If you were so blind to believe all of that was fake and bad, most likely you never actually and truly knew the Lord Jesus Christ, and felt God’s love. I’m so sorry for all of you. You still have a chance to repent and believe, I hope you do.

      Why are we headed for hell for telling the truth about spiritual bullying, grace-less legalism, and what matters more than evangelical doctrines (love)? If you believe in hell you don’t know the true Jesus. Look at the evidence that Jesus never taught it. Many if not most of us who deconstruct evangelicalism discover the authentic Jesus and love him more than ever.

    Melody was a very social person in that she liked to visit with people but being a spiritual leader was not in her genes. Leading LDM after Keith's death was not a good idea. I agree that Don was a sweet person and I am certain that Keith coerced Don to go ahead and fly the plane anyway. Don was an experienced pilot and I'm sure he knew it was a bad idea. I agree with Sharon, Keith was a bully and put a lot of pressure on people to get his way. Yes LDM was definitely a cult. I loved the interview!

    Hello Michael! I enjoyed this conversation, my friend. Keith is a really interesting guy; I’m glad you had him on. I cannot remember the source, but I recall someone saying that if all we had in our “canon” was the first three gospels - the Synoptics - and someone had later discovered the gospel of John, it would NEVER have been added to the canon, because it is so starkly different. It would probably have been condemned by mainstream or orthodox Christianity for various reasons (similar to how Thomas has been, by some). I agree with this idea, and it’s fascinating to think about. Of course, as we have it, the fourth (canonical) gospel made it in. The study of canonicity and which writings were ascribed meaning and why never loses my interest.

    • @michaelcamp2134
      @michaelcamp2134 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, same here, Aaron. It's a fascinating history. You may be right about the gospel of John. Historically, it was rejected by many in the Western "church" at first because the Gnostics used it. And the Eastern church preferred John over the synoptics. Also this was true about Hebrews and Revelation (the East rejected Revelation and the West Hebrews). Then in the 4th century, they finally accepted each other's disputed books with the condition their disputed books were accepted. "We'll accept yours if you accept ours." Fascinating story.

    Totally false! This guy is off the rails. Jesus taught VERY CLEARLY about hell! That was the whole point of His crucifixion! He died to save us from going to Hell! Otherwise what was the point of his death? Where do we get these people!? Do NOT listen to this guy!

    • @alwaysadawg6488

      If that is what Jesus taught when speaking to the Jews, then why did Paul never mention it to the Gentiles? The word "hell" in your English Bible is of pagan origin. Jesus NEVER said the word "hell". That word did not exist untul more than 1,000 years after Jesus died. It comes from "Hel", the name of the the Norse goddess death. Jesus actually said "the Valley of Hinnom", not "hell". Further, MOST early Christians believed that, one day i a future age, ALL people will eventually accept Jesus and be reconciled to God. This was the dominant belief among Christians for the 1st 500 years of Christianity. Most Englush Bible translations, including the beloved KJV, have significant translation errors. The word "hell" appears NOWHERE in the original Hebrew and Greek texts of the Bible.there is afterlife punishment, it just doesn't last forever.

    “Then he will say to those at his left hand, ‘You that are accursed, depart from me *into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels* ” (Matthew 25:41) End of universalism.

    • @michaelcamp2134
      @michaelcamp2134 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The proper translation is "fire of the age" not eternal fire. Fire in the NT is a metaphor for purification, not hell. Jesus was making a point that those who don't care for the needy and marginalized will be corrected. The other phrase, "eternal punishment" (aionios kolasis) means "rehabilitation of the age" or "chastening of the age." And so universalism begins.

    • @thejerichoconnection3473
      @thejerichoconnection3473 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@michaelcamp2134 obviously not: 1. The fire prepared for the devil and his angel cannot be a temporary purification fire. 2. If “aionios” means something temporary, then eternal life in heaven (called “aionios” as well) is also a myth. Universalism is obviously false.
