I would recommend 5km on grass for 30 days as 10km will kill your joints

Hi there! I am not planning to get into Hyrox any time soon (though you never know...) but i am certainly eager to start training the sled rope pull. How often and for how long and how many kg would you recommend for someone just starting out? P.S. where do i get a sled and a thick rope (like, 2'' thick that is)?
@@wadsworth2351 just like any exercise, progressively over load the weight. Before you load the weight make sure the movement quality is good. I’d say 1-2 a week anymore and you might start to get an overuse injury especially if it’s a new movement. I’d just wack a sled and rope into Google but pretty sure wolverson and bulldog gear will do them

There’s a reason rings are a male event, not saying women can’t do ring routines, just not very common. Being women are focused on lower body power since most of their routines are done standing
@@samuelrutkowski5789 the rings are very humbling for sure, respect to the gymnasts that do them 🙌🏼
Its probably more like a 4-5/10 difficulty. If you can do 3 regular pull ups you can for sure do a ring one.
@@antiantifa1313 I can do multiple ring pull ups but it’s the rotation at the start added to it that I couldn’t do

In these videos I am running the same length intervals at the same effort but here’s what’s improved … 🏃🏼♀️ My stride length isn’t forced 👟My foot striking is under my body instead of in front 💨 My arms are more relaxed 😎 As a result I am more efficient, not wasting energy and fatiguing quickly and the ultimate aim.. faster I’m no stranger to running, it’s been a part of my life since I started at the age of 10 However being a sprinter and running longer distances and competing in races like Hyrox is completely different!! There was an interview recently with 200m, 4x1 and 4x4 Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas who said that sprinters don’t run over a mile and that it’s difficult And she’s an elite athlete So me transitioning sprinting and powerlifting to Hyrox has been and is still quite the journey And for me to do better, the running efficiency and speed over the longer distances need to improve And I won’t lie I’ve been in my head so much this week about how I feel I haven’t made progress and how I’m not where I want to be But seeing these videos today and the progress made in a short period of time has reassured me that with consistency and repetition comes improvements Still a lot of work to do but I’m very happy with the progress so far and the journey has been fun So let this be your reminder to take the god damn videos of yourself It just might be the power tool you need in future to keep going and see how far you’ve come 🏃🏼♀️💨

Dialled in 🧘🏼♀️🎧 I am absolutely loving training at the minute, in fact I’ve not felt this good about it in a long time, even if some sessions I’m nervous for 😅 Today was deadlifts and intervals ⬇️ Deadlifts 5 reps 90 sec rest 3 reps 90 sec rest 1 rep 90 sec rest 2+ mins rest X3 into 500m 60 sec rest 500m 60 sec rest X10 The 30’s are right round the corner (3 months away) and I’ve never felt fitter 💪🏼 Ps some reps look a bit sticky as the bar kept getting stuck on my juicy quads
