😂😂😂 fair enough. At my age, anyone under the age of 30 is a kid to me. I got lucky, found these boxes online (Canadian Walmart). Last I checked, these boxes were from a Walmart like two hours outside of the city. Very hard to come by. Thanks for watching and commenting! 👍

Always great to hear from you man! I rewatched some highlights, and after looking back at some videos my buddies sent me, we definitely got a lot more engaged right after that blocked field goal. Yeah, I've gone back and forth as to where I stand on the one of ones. I think if you think it has a chance at a 9 or better, and you want to protect the card, go for it. The fact that it got a 5 without any visible bends or creases just boggled my mind though 😂 Cracked it open, and it definitely was not a 5. An 8 at worse in my opinion. So I'm keeping it in a one touch. I mostly collect football, but dabble in basketball and hockey. I also just collect athletes I'm a fan of in general. Thanks for watching and commenting!

@@srjwildcat3589 yeah, it's wild. The last time I was able to pick up a few boxes from the shelves, I caught the mjd holdings guy stocking. Let him do his thing, and within minutes guys came from nowhere and swarmed. We were more or less cordial, taking only a couple boxes. But then a couple came by with a shopping cart, and a cardboard box to take the majority of it. It was wild to see.

Hey man! Thanks again for watching and taking the time to comment. Lots to unpack here lol Yes, more or less only collect PSA, simply because I try to match the slabs. I also had a really strong feeling about the Herbert and Gaudreau cards as they looked great through the slab. But, you live and you learn. KSA is a Canadian grading company. They've been around these parts since the early 90s I believe. A lot of people like to grade cards for protection, as well as to increase its worth. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have either of these intentions in mind. But I'm also trying to generate content, and do something creative with this hobby. These videos are an outlet, and also a pretty interesting thought experiment for myself. Yeah, that was brutal, and it's clear the team gave up. Very heart breaking, especially considering the number of vets on that team. Heads are definitely going to roll, and apparently many players on both sides of the ball disagreed with Siriani'a philosophy and the small playbook. I can definitely see Lurie hiring a big splash candidate. As you said, tons of talent on the roster, and many coaches would salivate at the opportunity to coach this team up. @@icg1of1 No problem- Hope you didn't think I was prying, just never heard of that company and am always curious why people grade certain cards. I mean some cards are obvious, but seems like lots of people today grade everything so try to figure it out sometimes. I actually saw a guy in like 20' I think grade 50 Baker Mayfield rookie cards. 50. WTH??? Doesn't he realize he devaluing his own cards? 😂 Have a good one ✌ Another Canadian 😂 Lot of you around lately. You used to be a rare breed on here or mainly hockey and a lil baseball. Nice to see you fell in love with the KING OF SPORTS 👑 🏈 👍. Hopefully my Chiefs can pull of a miracle. 🤞

@@srjwildcat3589 oh yeah, no worries! I'm also trying to get better at preevaluating cards before grading. The best way to learn is to actually submit and find out. Wow, 50 Baker cards. Wild, the man must really believe in that dude. Yeah, football has always had a place north of the border. The CFL is a great game to watch (affordable as well), but the NFL is king up here as well. The highschool game is nowhere near as large as in the states, but is always one of the most popular sports at schools where a team is fielded. As for the playoffs, I'm just rooting for any AFC team. I look at them and like the storyline of any of the remaining four winning it all the most. In terms of support, here's my top three: 1. Buffalo- the spiritual team of southern Ontario. Also had great experiences as Bills games, very nice people and would be very happy for them. 2. Baltimore- the actual best overall team head to toe. Also huge respect for Harbaugh (former Eagles assistant) 3. KC- I love big Red. He would have never let the team give up like the birds did last night.

@@icg1of1 Well, we'll let that slide. I know a few Canadians. Most are Bills and Blue Jay's fans. Once you come to a game at Arrowhead you might change your mind 😂. It IS an experience. I live in a suburb of KC, but we're from Nebraska- Die hard Cornhusker fans. That's another experience that's unlike anywhere. Memorial stadium. Both stadiums have been sold out forever. Arrowhead is SOOOOO loud and Memorial is just the entire experience. The entire state is red on GameDay. Have a good one ✌

@@srjwildcat3589 oh for sure! Its sort of a pie in the sky bucket list thing for me to try and attend a game at every NFL stadium. Also good to know about Memorial stadium! The coliseum is the only college game I've been to before. That was a packed venue, but can only imagine what the atmosphere must be like in college towns. I'll definitely look into checking it out.
