My personal take is that this ending leads into Lakeview Valley in some way, since in that game Red's significance has been reduced mostly to focus on it's own story, but we never actually get the reason WHY this happened. Granted, this ending shows the Lakeview Cabin series as a whole being erased/sealed away, so it's possibly also a meta ending: the reason there isn't a Lakeview cabin 2 "movie" poster like the others, is because all this time the "movie" ends in a similar manner as we are shown here: It was erased/sealed to protect the world from the contents, due to spreading the influence of the Lake Gods (lakeview cabin collection's ending is a good reference as to exactly why the movie was dangerous)

The game had some updates. Now you empty the microwave instead of throwing it. If you're having a hard time, put something metal in the microwave, walk into the bathroom and sit on the toilet. The alien will stop shooting, so it resets the damage timer. Get off, turn on the microwave and walk out.

Also it might be a tease to either Lakeview Cabin 3, or another spin off like Lakeview Valley, either way we're about to see some PS1 models naked

Not sure, but she has been the source of a portal in the studio. Since she is a worshipper of the lake gods, maybe she got or holds special powers.

Granny is Walt's mother, aka the creator of Red and the Lakeview franchise as a whole. Red was forced into the real world due to Walt and his cult in order to fulfil a prophecy created by the Lake Gods to bring about an apocalypse. Our actions end up setting Red free from the cult where he can finally relax in his cabin and tell the story of how the actor who portrayed him (the dad in episode 1) ended up killing Walt, his creator. However... Walt's mother isn't having any of it and seeks to torment Red for going against Walt and the Lake Gods.

It's one of the lake gods. In Lakeview Cabin Collection 1 and Lakeview Valley, they're present at the end of the games.

They're basically the unexplained creatures who will keep the series going and probably never be explained

He did(if you mean this game’s epilogue), it’s the lake view cabin remake.

Since the developer doesn't use any text in the game, which makes the different chapters not so easily defined by words. A lot of people refer to one of the secret endings as the epilogue. The latest video I uploaded shows that.

This game takes place after production of the movies that take place in Lakeview Cabin Collection. I couldn't possibly give you a timeline, I don't think anyone's actually figured it all out

@@jameshawhite1723 I think lakeview valley takes place sometime after the hotel chapter, but before the mad max chapter. The twilight zone chapter is probably some form of retconning
