I have the same model vintage in black. I've ordered 2 alnico 3 magnets and switched out The alnico 5 ones of the Wilkinsons. The real old gibson slim guitars had alnico 3 magnets by chance cause alnico 2 was hard to get during the time the first SGs came to market. Gibson still sells these types of paf humbuckers under the name "custombucker" which was created by happenstance and necessity. 😊

When you install the new quick connect wiring harness do you still have to solder the old ground wire to the new wiring harness?

I replaced the original humbuckers in a Epiphone SG G-310 with these "Probuckers". I regret it and will be swapping back or just going with Gibson parts. The "Probuckers" are muddy and the splitting them did not sound very good either. Very difficult to find any decent tone. Worst thing I've every done to a guitar.

The GoPro mic sounds terrible. The fake SM57 appeared to sound pretty decent, right out of the box. When you're demonstrating the mic actually say complete phrases, instead of saying " Ah....... ah... pop.... ah ... pop..." That kind of intermittent, noise making doesn't demonstrate the mic. I'm talking about the part, where you were demonstrating the mic, before putting in the transformer. Perhaps diddling with the volume controls, etc. meant that you were doing more screwing with the knobs than talking. Also,when you finish AB the mic before and after. Put a section of video with it before, then immediately put a section with it after so that there is a direct comparison. ABing with a real Shure doesn't demonstrate any kind improvement that might have been made by installing the transformer. Communications: think about communications, and what your viewers actually get out of the video. Also, lengthy sections where you are soldering are a complete bore. Leave those out. Just include the important parts (like where you're hot gluing in the transformer.) I hope that these suggestions help you. Your video is eratic, and not cohesive in explaining what you're trying to explain. You picked a good subject. It had all of the ingredients for being interesting. But, the way that you presented is was erratic and disjointed. As a demo, here is a very short, to the point comparison of the Behringer BA 85a with EQ (with the graph shown), and without EQ. There is a full description below the picture. It's to the point, short, and well explained in the text. The main difference you are hearing is that the SD's are Alnico V, and the Epi's are Alnico 2. The Epi's actually sound pretty good here, less output and slightly warmer. They are probably real Epi's but just done as an extra batch someone has done.

just get a pad it feels identical. Those using a real drum with a mesh head are dinosaurs . There are 1000 better ways to do it.
