yes your right a lot for the buck, i am 67 and quit driving a car, with the Ecells Super Monarch 1500watt AWD and this ASOMTOM looks like a stripped down version of mine, so, I've got 4200 in mine and to get what I've got on the SR6 I'd have to invest another 2000, so, yes a great way to start out, THIS ASOMTOM SR6! yes i definitely would get it and add the features that each person needs for their riding, my riding includes everythin, off road, on road, rain, range 60 miles, cargo 350 pounds, and excersize and fun, not needing to be seen to look cool, that's a bonus though, good review

Heard nothing but bad reviews about this e-bike! The only good ones are the ones making money off the reviews! They dont deal with broken bike and with the horrible customer service, if thats what you want too call it.

Im not that tall and I can imagine not touching the ground id still ride though. My ebike is kinda fast and 1st time hitting 30 I was like whoa I am getting used to it though. Going over 30 I thought something bad was gonna happen like my front wheel was going to fall off.

Random thoughts: Yes, the Surron is a really tall bike. I recommend a helmet with a flashing rear light, a high-vis vest, and a pair of breathable gloves at a minimum for riding a fast e-bike. I agree on some of the name brand bikes are too expensive for what you get (looking at you Super 73). Being an avid motorcycle rider is a plus for the fast e-bikes, but there is nothing wrong with a basic level 1 e-bike. I would love for this channel to get a Goat Power Bike to try out. I keep looking at the Billy Goat V3 and even though I don't need it, I almost want it.

I had a seat lowering kit installed to lower seat about 2 inches....U can use smaller tires....I cut my throttle to make it a half twist.

The lack of pedals is what kills it for them, sure you can ninja ride most suburban trails and probably get away with it for now but all it takes is one hard ass law enforcement having a bad day to ruin yours. The key if you want to go fast and still appear as a pedal bike are the fast mid motor mountain bikes that still have a form of pedal assist and mountain bike appearance even if you are doing 50+MPH pulls on them. I had a LUNA BANANA for awhile that did close to 50 with a 48V battery and it was enough to piss off the purist bike riders if you blow past them on trails, those are the ones that will be cop callers.
