Loved 1000 Stars! A personal anecdote. A few years ago, I was at a club in New Jersey where a local oldies band was playing. It was a Meetup event. I got there early and couldn't find the people I was supposed to meet. The band began singing 1000 Stars. The lead singer saw me wandering around and perhaps thinking I was about to drown my sorrows, she followed me and made direct eye contact. She sang the whole song to me! This grown man was melting! The only thing that could've made that moment better is if Kathy Young herself were singing to me!
Have watched this lots of time!! Love Kathy's Thousand Stars!!!!!Always ready to watch on PBS!!!!!!

I first heard and saw her in 1961. I was still "pre-teen" and I had a crush on her. I thought she was the prettiest girl on earth. Now we are both in our 70's and I have got to say: She has still got it going on. Only my wife is prettier.🙂

I know from experience Cathy Young is a very nice person she's exactly what you see there very classy I actually backed her up at the Marshfield fairgrounds in Massachusetts 27or28 years ago it was a great experience for me love that woman😊 Chris Montez was also there extremely nice guy made us feel very comfortable on stage.
