Here in SE asian glutathione is common and pose no health problems if it did there would be national wide notices of complaints. The adverse effects are in all drugs even though there are studies published. One or two case of side effects do not stay its a major issue. There is no drug fda approved that do not have death dealing side effects diabetes meds to high cholesterol and blood pressure meds . The key is balance and common sense. I dont take glutathione because colorism is a major issues here. Lighting dark pigmentation spots is one thing but taking it due to colorism and racism is wrong. May face is dark due to sun damage but the rest of my body is much lighter because of less exposure so i can see balancing out your skin but here in the Philippines its all about colorism and the need to be white like their colonizers.
