I am watching this for the 5th time and god no I feel so sorry for Violet but also Anthony is so young. Yes he is the oldest but I have read that he is 18. 18 is so freaking young. I don’t know how much time had passed between the death of his father and this scene but he still struggles to be the head of the house. Also good that he lets Violet choose. I also have watched a scene where Violet said “I wished for the kindness of this child that should have killed me so I am with my husband” something like this or along those lines. Why does it feel so wrong why.

If I knew I was going to have to watch my husband die 2 years after watching this scene, I would have never watched it. It exactly what I went through but my husband died from cancer reaching his lungs and brain.

The hyacinth flowers that Edmund had picked for Violet just before he died must be exactly why she named her last daughter as she did: connecting her child to her last memory of her child's father.

It should be the mother’s choice and hers alone. Disgusting to ask someone to make that kind of choice for a woman against her will. It’s her body and her baby. Her choice is the only one that matters.

OMG when I first saw the movie she was immediately my favorite character but how did she talk Snape just like when I first saw her like wow 😳

The doctor is entirely disrespecting Viloet, despite her being the one that’s giving birth. She’s trying to save her unborn, Anthony her child from being forced to face an awful decision, and stop all of them becoming orphans. (Also Antony who’d run the family and look after all of his siblings (including a newborn)). She knows from experience that the birthing is going wrong and the doctors trying to gaslight her. Even standing is her natural instinct to use the help of gravity. She’d probably discussed it at length with Edmund during her other six pregnancies on her decision. It’s not just Edmunds love that would pick her, but also his respect for her decision and consideration for all of the other children

The song that daphne is singing to Eloise. If you ever watched the Cinderella 2015 movie. Ella sings Lavender's blue dilly dilly, this song at the end of the movie when she's trapped in her room. Anyone who hasn't watched cinderella, the 2015 movie, you should.

This is so sad and heartbreaking! 😭I feel so sorry for Violet and her children, especially Anthony(After all, he had to grow up fast as soon as his father died). 😢 Having your beloved husband and father taken away out of nowhere, that must've been the most cruelest thing to ever experienced. 😭 No wonder Anthony was afraid of falling in love. And it's made all the sadder because Violet was pregnant when Poor Edmund died, meaning the youngest Hyacinth is the only Bridgerton child who never got to meet Edmund, her beloved father. 😢

It’s awful how Violet is being disregarded here, so she has to try desperately to protect both her unborn child and Anthony who’s being forced to make this choice.

I still wonder what exactly she meant with „it would not be a choice, he loved me so much“. I guess it would mean to save her and kill the baby, since they also have a lot of children already and maybe more important a lot of sons.. but still, I can‘t imagine saying to kill the baby.

This was the most painful birth for violet she just lost her husband

My God that was an amazing performance, the emotional rollercoaster was traumatic.
