Funny you ask. I was told I should have a McFarlane Power Girl by Wednesday, earliest. I'm still wondering when McFarlane Super Powers Joker, or Lex Luthor. If you want a great Catwoman, checkout Batman The Animated Series line, OR an old Kenner Batman Returns Catwoman on eBay. The Batgirl from the Batman 66 line looks great. But it's 6 inches, and fits more with 1:12 figures. They don't sell for much. I have a few still in the original box. I agree they should have made Cheetah, when they made WW Gold. That figure comes with a lasso. BTW, did ya know that a female hero is a heroine?

Did you hear that Spin Master is going to make Superman 78 figures, as part of their next wave of the retro line? They want to do more collectibles that adults would buy... I hope they don't get expensive, and kids can play with them. I really like that Spin Master makes figures for kids.

I just took a tape measure to him, and he comes in right at 6.5 inches. That's from his toes, to the tip of his hair.

Yes. He's larger than Darkseid. This figure's only redeeming qualities are that his vest is fabric. That's about it. It would have been better if he was a head smaller, and came with his bike.

Yes. Lobo is just a bit bigger than Darkseid... I compared him, when putting him on the Super Powers shelf. I agree, it's weird. I sometimes get figures a bit early. I worked for WB, and in merch for many years. But, I think a lot of others have gotten theirs. McFarlane's site will ALMOST always be the first to ship their figures out. I've seen Gamestop beat them ONCE. They released the Christopher Reeve figure about 2 weeks before people who ordered from McFarlane's toy store.

I love Jay, and it's cool that Lobo's vest is fabric. I was happy to get him. But, after the vid, I checked, and YEP. He's taller than Darkseid. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Darkseid supposed to be bigger?

Does the wire fully touch each side, like normal wired capes? I would rather Captain Marvel (HIS REAL NAME) come with the Captain thunder cape. It might be the same cape, with some very very crappy paint. IDK, but that cheap gold paint could make kids sick.

The platinum version has the same problem with the wire being too short, but it hasn't actually poked through the fabric. I'm guessing that the gold fabric is a lot more delicate than the yellow.

@@allenbelk6222 The hole was already there. The wire shouldn't be able to poke a hole. It's curved back in on itself, with a curved tip.

Yes. I just wish McFarlane would use those hands on all their Superman figures. When I get a 3D printer, I'm gonna make proper hands.

I honestly can't remember the exact tone. From when I tried it on. Maybe the figure should have a bit of a haze over it. So, right color, but not dirty looking.

Which head sculpts? I showed a few.

@CaptainHavfun-lp4ok the alternate head for the regular, which is the standard head for evil Superman looks very different from the regular head on normal Superman, which is the alternate head for evil Superman. I hope this makes sense.

@@sirjorroc8967 I'll have to look again. I just didn't see it being anything special like heat vision eyes, or the smiling alternate head sculpt that came with Mezco figure. Mezco came with 2 or 3 alternate heads.

Why would you say that? I didn't collect for 20 yrs. Then, I only started again for him. When I buy a figure, I try to buy 3 NOW. One to open and let him play with, one for his collection, and one for "mine". I was playing with Super Powers and He-Man toys when I was 2 yrs old. I think he'll be very popular with. He'll have toys that no kid in his peer group has.

Did you see the Kryptonite I put next to the Fortress of Solitude? It came with the Mezco Superman, that's not Christopher Reeve. I think it might be the first Superman Mezco, with the "Reeve Returns" costume.

@@tss6824 No. Just the costume colors are good for it. I looked at the alternate McFarlane head sculpt. It looks a bit different. Hair is slightly different . I wish thy would have included a smiling Reeve head.

I bet it was a cost saving measure. The boxes are the exact same. The only difference is the sticker that says Platinum Edition. Since the box, flight stand, and card are the same, I'd guess they were mass produced, and then stuff went inside the completed boxes.

@CaptainHavfun-lp4ok True...but in the ultimate scheme of things McFarlane and DC are making money hand over fist selling these collectables, so regardless of cost of manufacture and distribution, to differentiate the figures even more with a unique trading card only available with the chase variant would have increased the value and demand for buying the figure in the hopes of scoring the variant...a win-win for everyone...

Thanks man. It was actually really scary. My wife could have died. She's been in the hospital since the 29th. They caught a lot of problems, because we were scheduled to go in for a labor inducement.

I didn't see it on their site when the regular figures were available. I always check Gamestop, when people ask me for help finding figures. Take pics, and email care@gamestop.com about it, and they'll refund you. They MIGHT ask you to return it, but you can just tell them it's inconvenient to you. Afterall, they did send you the wrong figure. If you want to replace it, it's going to cost you more money. They're not easy to find, and are more expensive on eBay.

@CaptainHavfun-lp4ok I have 3 of the regular and the variant so I'm happy. But if they'll refund me for the figure without me having to return it that's money in my pocket. Good idea I'll look into it.

@@reggiemoore2261 I'm speaking from experience. Gamestop is usually great about refunding if you don't get your items, or there's something wrong. BUT, if someone gives you a hard time, be creative. The variant is cool, and all. But, it's not the hero figure. It's a bad guy. You didn't order that. I'm not a fan of dark colors on Superman either. I prefer him with very light blue. But that's me.

@@reggiemoore2261 Just curious. Why did you buy 3? I used to only get 2-5. But now, it's like I need to get at least 3 of everything. I just had a son about 8 hours ago. I have been buying him stuff for months. Just planning ahead. I get one figure to open and display. One for him, and one to put away in my collection.

@CaptainHavfun-lp4ok Congrats on your newborn. Just out of habit. It's just a collecting tick I have. My wife would complain about it too. LOL. It's funny because I don't open them and I just store them in plastic, airtight storage bins. 3 is better than 1 or 2 I guess. HAHA.
