I think the slapping of the V-belt is maybe normal because there is no load on the driven side of the variator.
Not sure what I'm watching here, but seems like that belt is flopping when you decelerate. Is that what you're testing?
I had vibrations in the variator gearbox. The engine and gearbox are built by BMW in the Far East. The rotating parts are not balanced. I balanced and modified everything. Belt slap of der V-Belt is normal because there is no load on the driven side of the transmission.

Ich hatte vorher Vibrationen im Variatorgetriebe. Mehr als 120 km/h ging nicht. Ich habe alle drehenden Teile gewuchtet. Hauptursache war die Fliehkraftkupplung. Die hatte mehr als 1g/cm also ca. 10g. Die Teile drehen sich auf der schnellen Seite vom Getriebe mit bis 10.000 rpm. Das Getriebe dreht jetzt fast Vibrationsfrei. Die Drehzahl vom Motor bei 100 ist etwas weniger. V-Max ist mehr als die Tachoendanzeige. Der Keilriemen schlägt, weil keine Last auf der abgetriebenen Seite vom Getriebe ist.

pengasus belts don't loosen up. But there could be the wrong belt on.
Was machste ohne das Band? Habe so ein Band noch nie benutz, was macht das aus?
Das Band stabilisiert die Haltung und schützt auch die Ellenbogen. Man schafft gut 5 kg mehr damit. Bei hohen Gewichten und wenigen Wiederholungen ist es brauchbar.
