I have to say…. Your video really inspired me. I’ve painted a few guns so far using this method. Not bad for personal hobbies… speaking of my myself and not of your outcomes. This next build I decided to get an actual gun from harbor freight. I’m going I can take what I learned from my past mistakes so see if I can do the very best job I’ve done yet.

nice job, one future note, spray the hard to cover areas first that way if you mess it up you don't waste a bunch of paint on the easy stuff first.

I am considering to color fill the handguard roll mark on my build, but wonder how much heat it may face at the chamber through the barrel nut, and if high heat paint would prevent it from being burnt off❓🤔🤨

Spray Can Painters Tip: Cut the flap off of a clean cardboard box & hold it behind the part you are spraying while moving it to be DIRECTLY BEHIND your spray pattern. This will help control the wasted spray as some of the "over-spray" will actually-deflect back onto the part you are spraying. We used to paint our bikes and my dad taught me this trick. Believe it or not it will make a HUGE difference while you are spraying/painting small to medium parts.

when youre spraying its better to hit it with long continuous shots instead of short quick sprays. Will reduce the risk of splatter or getting the nozzle clogged

Don't ever use brakes parts cleaner. Leaves a residue.

i install a spare h4 led bulb i had from another bike onto my z125. same buld but the patttern is completely differently. i think due to the reflector in the z125.

Did you bake the coating on? Cerakote is an enamel coating that you have to cook on, you might wanna look into that

One tip, that I found, tape off the threads on the recivers and plug holes where you can...it can make a difference when assembling.

Instead of sanding use red scotchbrite

Was this the first time you used brake cleaner? That stuff stinks and like you said drys fast (great content) so far he knows his shit. Skeptical about him and brake cleaner

Just acetone the stuff you want to paint. I’m about a min in and I skipped a few times

Now that it's been 7 years how long is that paint Hangout is it paint resistant to scratches or does it just gets scratched every time I rubbed up against something

Now before wiping off the excess and using the nail polish remover do you let it dry some or wipe it off immediately

How was assembly ? Any trouble w actions? Mag release sticks on mine hoping it loosens up w time. I’m confident caused by cerekote being too thick. Did one cost as instructed.
