That pricing 😂
Nice video! Are you interested in off-road lighting stuff sponsorship?
🤘🤘
I think I'm too early to the party. This production quality is fantastic! Definitely gonna check out what else you guys have posted.
nice truck but how do you overland with the wind dam on the front
Heater chimney that close to a fuel tank on the outside is kind of terrifying but nice rig overall
LOL
😂
I'm in love with this build holy cow
Thanks! We are too 😍
Jeez, this would take forever to do all of the seals. How much do y’all charge for this service?
Depending on how many seals need to be replaced, this could be upwards of an 8 hour or more job. We'd need to see the camper in person to best quote you on labor
This is awesome. How miuch does something like this on cost?
Finally scout came out with a lighter camper, this one looks nice and price is not bad at all!
It's mindblowing how a hardwall camper can be 680lbs!
Need one for the 8ft bed
We agree! Aaaaaall the interior space
Great video
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
I really hope that one day they show the sleeping area in a video, I don't understand why they never do it... what would be the logic of not showing this?
The Alu-Cab camper and its sleeping area are pretty thoroughly covered on TH-cam and since we didn't do anything special in the bed area, we chose to skip over it. But the next video will have a very in-depth tour of the sleeping area, just for you!
absolutely INCREDIBLE JOB GUYS! please come to Australia and help us haha
You don't have to ask us twice! We'd love to travel down unda 😜
would like to see a video with the beds sometime thanks
You got it! Next video will cover the sleeping area more
Thanks for the shuttles up the pass!
It was a blast 🤘
Sign me up for next year!
Was the payload capacity changed? Better/Worse? I have a 2017 PW and when I'm fully loaded and have a RTT it can seem like a death trap at highway speeds. I have been looking for a better setup for suspension. Thanks and keep up the great work.
Great question for Josh. I am considering PW overland build. The bed capacity is an issue with only about ~1500lbs legally supported. I feel like a nice setup like this one really pushes you to a Ram 3500 to stay in gov/insurance compliance. I did pause the video at the rear view under belly scene, there looks to be quite a bit of modifications to the rear suspension. I am also guess with Carli arms up front, no aticulink maybe too. All of which probably eliminates the stock PW suspension, hence, no death ride for handling especially on windy days. We live in a litigious world now, the PW comes with a warning in the glove box about slide ins… lawyers might have a field day with billing you on arguing about the alucab. Shout out to Juniper, beautiful build. Would love to get insight please on overcoming the PW shortcomings. Ty!
Looks like it was a great time! That Scout ski mount 😍
Liked that window setup, and the fact they’re marine grade.
It's a great addition, and we like that some of them open to the inside!
I perked up when I heard AC - such a must in the Southeast!
We're excited for it too! We've never had so many people ask about AC than we did at MOORE
Great conversation! Love the down to earth personality of Scout and Juniper.
awesome! love it
Thanks for chatting with us Ryan!
@@JuniperOverland your team is a group of Scout guru's! People should have full confidence working with your team for their truck or camper needs!
J. O. Salesman really did a number on Mr. Deep Pockets.
We built what the customer asked for and feel very blessed that they chose us for the job 👍
Some can play, some can’t. Don’t hate!
Don't hate on people with money, they might benefit you one day. I just bought a lightly used 2022 Power Wagon with only 16,000 miles and $30,000 (I have the receipts) in accessories for $58,000. It seems the gentleman wanted a diesel after all so after spending $104,000 on his truck he traded it in on a Rebel after two years. I was lucky to be the first at the dealership as there was a stampede right behind me to get it. I thank God for rich people if I can get deals like this.
Very nice build! What year is this Power Wagon?
Brand new 2024
How much does that weigh? I'd be concerned about the payload being taken up since the power wagons have such terrible capacities.
It wasn't weighed after install but we'd estimate the camper portion to be around ~700-800 lbs
Sorry for the basic question but where do you sleep? I didn’t see any sort of a pulldown bed, etc..
I have the same question….
That's one of the great things about the Alu-Cab, the bed platform pushes up and away so far that it creates a huge standing area in the camper. There is a pull down bed platform with an extra smaller pull down that you can keep up to crawl into bed, then put it down (if you're over 6'4", otherwise that's not needed.
Can the Kenai be put on a 6.5ft f250 and still close the tailgate?
No, the Kenai is designed for 8ft beds and would require no tailgate or the tailgate down for a 6.5ft bed
Looks great. Any reason to not use the CJC Offroad fog light kit?
No reason! Just used the Baja Designs kit instead.
I would love to have this setup on my Power Wagon, how can I get a quote?
Shoot us an email at info@juniperoverland.com and we can help you with that quote!
...and yet, you don't tell us what it actually weighs. So why describe it's lightness, and how heavy the comp is, why not just tell us, how much does this weigh????
775 lbs as outfitted
And it'll never see a dirt road lmao jk
Prettiest truck at the mall 💅
As a new 2024 Tundra SR5 owner, are builds like this feasible without a TRD or TRD Pro? My wife and I are looking to get out away from the city for awhile but we won't need serious off road capability. My wife spent a lot of time in Iraq in tents so amenities and creature comforts are key to my strategy. Starlink, solar, batteries, and a shower would be mandatory. Would love to hear what you and the community think.
Absolutely possible! I have a new 2024 Tundra short bed SR5 and have ordered pretty much the same rig from Juniper Overland minus a few amenities. It is expected to arrive sometime in late April and then they will install. I don’t plan on doing any lift or serious modifications to the suspension, my days of serious off-roading in the backcountry are over but it will be nice to get to some places that most people can’t.
Why buy a TRD Pro and then immediately rip out the suspension??
For the i-Force powertrain primarily, amongst other reasons.
what color? Is it just Gray
Yup! Just their normal grey color.
Is Payload not a problem? I have a Tacoma but yoho seems to be almost 1300lb with the options i want
This is the Tuktut, so much much lighter than the Yoho model! 775lbs as outfitted
What was the cost of this?
Parts & labor were around ~$5,500
@@JuniperOverland thank you for the reply!
Every accessory made
Pretty much!
I build my tacoma out with in my means. too much for me.
All anyone needs is a tent and a beautiful campsite! This just makes it all that more comfortable and for longer periods of time
OVER PRICED JUNK
Tell me how you really feel 👀
There must be a 55% profit margin at minimum for the camper to start out @ $16k. With all the leak issues many ppl r having on the scout forum the price tag is just too high
Lol definitely not that kind of margin. Also we haven't had a single leak come through our shop in over a year and a half. Must be old information you're coming from
LOL
Tehe
Will it fit in a Nissan frontier Pro4X 2022 and up?
Absolutely will!
for as much as another truck lol
Pretty much any camper in 2024 is the price of a vehicle, I guess it just doesn't suit your needs
What is it that makes this expensive? And where is the bathroom? Do you pay that much to shit in the bush? 😂
Isn't that a part of the camping experience? The world is your toilet 😍
I do agree that you can poop anywhere, but when dishing out that amount of money, amenities would be nice. You can poop in the woods anytime, without buying the scout.
Bathrooms/inside showers are big and heavy, and often comes with a much much higher price point than a Scout. You likely won’t find another camper this lightweight and offroadable in the price range. That’s pretty much a van thing or something a 4,000 lbs Palomino might have. Different strokes for different folks. Personally I would hate the cleanup process and would probably never use any toilet that’s in my living room
Showed nothing! $34K is outrageous for a box with nothing in it!
Last I checked it had cabinetry and a power system, my eyes must be going bad
34.000 dollars that's totally ridiculous
Putting milk in the bowl before the cereal, now that's ridiculous
@@JuniperOverland I agree but for 34.000 dollars Ican find better
Can you show the re-sealing of the solar panel.
Do you mean re-tape the outer edges of the solar panel to the roof or re-sealing the wire ingress?
Both
