Hi mate you would be able to do airport transfer in your car, doesn’t always have to be formal! I drive an Audi etron and no you don’t need operators licence to join the companies only if you want to book jobs in for yourself

Hope you realise what you're taking on and have plenty of money in the bank coz tryin to maintain a lowish wage full time job , pay bills etc and still get all over London for runs and pointing will be a killer. Knowledge schools will tell you all the upsides but their fighting for their lives and just want your dollar.

If you join the right companies you can mate, own car can pick and choose my work

Yes, you can pick the fare, but if you say no too many times or cancel at short notice, you can probably bet they won't be so willing to offer you work again. Naturally. 👍

@@Beyond-Creation depends where you want to drive mate tbh, if your wanting to do Uber you can work the apps in Hertfordshire I’m pretty sure

@@Uberdiaries similar to you really as sounds like a good mix, be able to drive my local area (Saint albans/Hemel Hempstead/Watford) but also have the option to do airport transfers.

Hopefully things improve but need to be proactive

No under 18s in an Uber without an accompanying adult, the policy is very clear. If the driver breaches the policy and has an accident, or is reported, it could result in permanent deactivation and/or revocation of the driver's private hire licence.

@@UberdiariesYou actually can. You are legally allowed to log on and accept jobs in any area that Uber also has an Op Licence. Thats why Wolverhampton drivers work in London and Liverpool. You can’t log on unless they do the same service as you do So UberLux can’t log on in Southampton because there is no Lux there

@@Finggy yeah I would love to work London mate but the traffic up there I can’t deal with! I worked London for 4 years chauffeuring and ubering and I don’t miss it! But may be worth doing some jobs going that way that pop up
