Assuming this is the main theme; plays in episode 1 when Kakehashi is coming to terms with the fact that he's alive and that he's meant to find happiness. Also is the second to last OST that plays in episode 11 when Kakehashi and Metropoliman are arguing about the importance of people's lives.

Sao would literally be better if it was scrapped and Alicization was made a standalone show that didnt have massive time skips or californians invading the place as red knights. Or any of the characters from past seasons side Kirito. Would actually be a really good show.

2:13 is like a calm winter and I absolutely love the beginning, but something about 3:05... Just straight chills, I feel as if a cool breeze from atop of a mountain hits me whenever it gets to that point... Edit: *it might be me but I love the gentle breeze to harsh gust of wind that wurls around while a blizzard is happening, it's definitely poetic in my opinion and makes "The Blue Rose Sword" ost that much more beautiful, especially the tragically blissfulness of the end there...* *Wipes tears away* Edit: a story I read from another video that gives some context to, The Blue Rose Sword. 2:13 *"A far away land, where the mountains are covered in a forever lasting snow, where the air is cold and bitter, where no human would reach. SAO is actually a really sad story. You see the joy, happiness and purpose in Kirito when he is in a simulation even though he wasn't in the real world. The whole story is beautiful and depressing
I know right, it's so deep. Rekis story is extremely emotional. I for one, think he's a genius writer. And I cannot wait for Unital Ring to be adapted, It was so sad seeing Kirito making closer friends in that simulation, just to lose them, just for it to be a test. The dearest to him being Eugeo hit hard for me and kirito, but in the Unital Ring novels it is told that Ronye and Tiesse deep freezed themselves so they could see kirito again before he left the max acceleration. And I'm sure some of the integrity knights survived, as they are said to be immortal...just not in combat. I'm sure it will be an amazing season whenever it's adapted. (Most likely 2025) but anyways, I've gone through a Rollercoaster of emotions in SAO. And just to think, this is just an anime. None of this never happened, it really depresses me something so perfectly written and so vividly explained never happened. I like to think that the people in SAO exist in some distant universe, and that is whatever my mind visualizes.

@@eugeoyes513 You aren't wrong about it being Beautiful and Depressing, Kirito never failed to express his human side, just the fact that he's so incredibly powerful it's kinda hard not to see it lol. Saachii was the beginning of Kiritos fall into a downward spiral of guilt and agony, survivors guilt in a sense, the way he grieved is believable (Spoilers ahead) Eugeo was a similar case to saachii but on an even greater scale.... The man literally *Tore* himself up because he couldn't save a few people on time, but man... The relationship between Kirito and Eugeo hits home for me.
@@eugeoyes513Yea but space ships? That is so far from swords. Not to mention end of series Asuna, Kirito, and Alice mop the space thing with swords in space and no ship. Not even caring its a void of oxygen. This next season is likely to tank the series. GGO still fit the theme. Space Ships, no not even close. Im hoping it was a rare case of anomalies the knights used to take them on but still rely on swords.
