My little turtle has white eye swollen.now it fully spread to one eye and started to spread to the other. Is this carrot soak good for that infection ? if it is.How often should do the treatment for recovery ? Is it should do daily or how? Please please reply to this....😢

I have two RES turtles that i think are about seven years old. Their shells are seven to eight inches long, and i think they're female. I'm very new to the turtle world. My problem is finding a good vegetable based food for them to eat. Ive tried kale, carrots, and zucchini. Obviously there are a lot more options ,but i really want something in a pellet form that i can monitor easily. All the products i see available are loaded with animal protein. Ive got jars and jars of that. Can you recommend something for me? Help me Obee Won Kenobi, you're my only hope...

I have two pretty large red-eared sliders that I keep in a 70 gallon tank is filled with water 3/4 the way and I bought the floating island so they can get out and sunbathe under The lights. I hope it's all right if they live in water I thought that was their preference not to be in a dry tank and throwing them in a wet bucket to eat food?

Don't be stupid like me and forget to dechlorinate your water after water changes or during. STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID mistake. My turtle is fine though got her all healed up with vitamin A, and some turtle eye drops. Bit of dry docking and she was good as new

Where can I get that grass?

My turtle has been breathing with open moth and stretched neck for almost three months and no home caring worked. So I took him to the vet. My turtle is using cephalexin syrup orally for the past 2 weeks ( it means two complete periods) and he still has the same symptoms and is breathing with stretched neck and open mouth. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm very scared 😭😭😭😭😭

My stinkpot musk turtle was showing symptoms of respiratory infection. I decided to set up a small hospital tank for him. Had the water level only high enough to cover his entire shell. Add water conditioner and turtle fix. I did daily water change in the hospital tank. Gave him oral treatment of goldenseal root that specifically treats respiratory infection. I just so happen to have them in my medicine cabinet. Each capsule is 500 mg. I removed the capsule and separated the powder. I then lightly soaked 1 reptomin pellet and coated it in the goldenseal root powder that i removed from the capsule. I did this for 2 days and my turtle has since recovered. Hes now back in the main tank which is a 40 breeder.

ive had aa turtle for about a week now and hes a baby cooter he hasnt eaten much i give him pellets red shrimp and lettuce daily but he doesnt really eat somtimes he does but usually for like 2-3 days he basks eyes closed and wont eat and whenever hes not hes under water hiding which is normal for turtle babies but i dont know if you have any advice thatd help ive tried most things in this video

My yellow belly slider is 14 years old. She has been in a new larger tank for a year and a half and was thriving. She laid eggs 2 months ago for the first time. My turtle has been gasping for air. Took her for antiobiotics and i don't know if it helped. She's not moving, has no reflexes, and her eyes have been open for over 8 hours. Their open with a glassy look. I can't tell if she's even breathing. I feel she has passed, but I'm so unsure. Why would she be in this kind of state?
