If you mean what you can see in the thumbnail. Then I appologize, I did that a few months after uploading the video. And I dont remember exatly how I did it. But I know I used a Plane for the ground and then for the back I extruded one of the sides and then beveled the corner to get a smooth line between back wall and ground. I hope you understand what I mean. Then I dont remember if I used an hdri or a three point light. And my lights have never been so advanzed so I dont think its super hard to get similar results. I usualy try to replicate a photo studio setup

What are your PC specs?

Try set the scale in object mode by having the object selected and pressing ctrl+A and then scale. then in editmode you can also try to press A followed by M and then By distance. Then try and to select the rings and ctr+b to bevel them. I hope you are able to solve it.

@@bobbykesharwani Okay you mean the youtuber. What you should learn to create that kind of stuff is blender basics like how to extrude/ loopcuts etc. And with your computer you will probably struggle a little with blender but its possible if you know how to go around things. www.blender.org/download/requirements/ in that link you will find the blender requirements.

my specs are 8gb ram 4 gb vram, gtx 1650 GPU and Ryzen 5k series 7. You will most likely be able to create fern but you will struggle with the most thing. so this video is perfect for you. ​@@VisualPixelsCG No, not at all it is informative but complicated for beginners. You used too many nodes, duplicated the same nodes and made some changes in them which seem too complex. It is good stuff for those who have full command on material nodes but not for beginners like me. Please make a video on shading nodes for beginners as your way of explanation is very nice.

@@chahak376 Thank you for the nice comment. I cant promise anything but I will try to make it easier for beginers next time. Shaders can be tricky to learn since you need to understand what every little thing does.

bolean can be tricky to get right but by making the shape of the bolean object long/ wider you can that result

Im sorry that you feel this way. I dont mean to make it harder for people I just want to help. When I made this I was quite new to blender so back then I thought this was good enough but as you say its not even close to real carbon fiber. Today I would have done it in a different way.

​@@VisualPixelsCG I would just try again with new acquired information and experience, and delete this old one. Also check out other carbon fiber tutorials, as there are several of these already. As for Eevee, which I don't really use, I don't think people care about using color to fake it, as doing it proper is not supported (no anisotropic shader), and the way to hack it is a bit on the complex side. I didn't mean anything in an offensive way. Think of it as constructive criticism if possible.
