You can "fix" those fluorecent tubes by builing a High Frequency HV driver, kind of running them like an induction light with infinite tube lifespan if you ignore overtime phosphor degredation

LED is boring compared to these. I don’t hate LEDs, but fluorescent is much more fun and I love the way they turn on and burn out!

I had this happen with a «Standard» 13w pl-s Bulb but it turned out the starter wasn’t fully dead it still works which is weird

Those things are very rare today. If you have that nostalgia, you could do a custom LED strips with Arduino or something similar and program it to do a preheat style startup. Would be really cool to have about a dozen of those in the shop programmed to do a random unique startup sequence each time.
