What about if my hooch has stuff floating in it?
Can I use bread flour ?
I'm thinking about getting just a couple of goats. Thanks for this video. It is helpful.
Glad it was helpful! Goats are so much fun!
Did it pop back out? Glad to see it didn't seem to hard! Dealing with the same problem 😕
No it never came back out. Hope you find something that works for you hen.
What brand yeat you use
It’s Fleischmann’s Dry Yeast. I buy it in bulk from Sam’s.
This was a great tutorial. Thank you. New subscriber here.
Welcome! Glad it was helpful.
So cute ❤❤ 🥰
Invest in a DR mower. Basically a two wheel bush hog. It will chew through that like it’s regular grass to a regular lawnmower. Paid well over $2000 for my first one. Lasted almost 12 years. Found them recently at auctions for as little as $200.
That’s a good idea! There is no way our zero turn will get through this.
@@Starry_Night_Homestead What state are you in? Have an older DR you can have. I’m in southern AZ just off I10 in Willcox. Old tiller with implements as well. Can haul them to Willcox if necessary. Clearing my property off for sale, no longer need them.
@@Starry_Night_Homestead With 4 acres you might be better to spend that towards a tractor, because once you knock this down you will be able to mow with the mower you have but will always need a tractor.
mine is doing terrible as well. no rain and 110F here
😥
Where are you guys located? I’m in upstate SC and it looks like you might be as well.
We are in Arkansas. 👍🏼
You hit the jackpot with that one!
I'm in awe of your gardening skills! This hydrangea garden is truly stunning and inspiring👍🏾🫶🏾🤍
Great job.
Các em bé được trải nghiệm thú hoạch khoai Tây rất thú vị .
Thanks for the video. I was wondering if you ever had lice or mites take over their mouth area, and their ears, and if this solution works for that, thanks in advance.
Sorry, no we haven't had experience with that. I wonder if you put the mixture around the ears and under the chin if it would still work? For sure avoid the mouth, inside ears and eyes. Hope you were able to find something to help!
I commented about an hour ago, and it got deleted?
It's yellow aster disease.
Interesting. I'll have to look that up. Thanks!
Its going fractal!
Thanks guys
Phyllody? I googled “Phyllody echinacea” and found a website called Awkward Botany that talked about a similar looking thing :)
Try and propogate it, see if you can recreate it.
I have a 6ft. Fence and every year I have a couple jump it then destroy it when they leave
Oh wow!! 😮 Maybe we need to step it up in the fence department.
I think this could mean infection, or other negative causes. But it is definitely cool.
Ah that is likely. We are struggling with lots of fungal issues across the garden this year. Super humid and not enough airflow. 😕
@@Starry_Night_Homestead ugh I'm so sorry. It's one of those growing seasons for me too and I have done nothing different, you are at a new place at least.
Woah! That looks so cool.
Right?! So strange yet cool!
Great Job guys!😇!😇!
🥳
If that’s average, I really don’t wanna see full-sized.
Deer
We have an electric fence 🤷♀️
Deer?
Don’t think they can get past the electric fence, but maybe? 🤔
Goat? 🤣🤣🤣
Good guess, but we have an electric fence around the garden. No goats allowed. 😅
That was too easy to just blame the goats.
If my boys were there then I would blame them 😂😂😂
😂 these green ones probably don’t taste great!
@@Starry_Night_Homestead😂 It's so hot there it would be green fried tomatoes
Who's gonna tell her
It’s huge!
Right!!! I’m surprised 😄
That’s a giant Squash!!!😮
lol that’s what I thought!
@@Starry_Night_Homestead 😆
It's definitely giant for a first squash, it's big for a homegrown squash, it's on the bigger side of average for a farm squash Well done! 😊
Yes! That’s what I was thinking! Thanks!
Work in some sand where you plant potatoes next year. The tiny potatoes can be left in the ground to come up next year.
Ohh good idea! Thanks for the tip.
Regular size, not massive...
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Beautiful garden ❤
Thank you!
Noice!! 👍
Average
😎
If you are not going to stay there long, are you moving to a new homestead?
Yes, that is the plan.
Gorgeous!! That’s MASSIVE!
That I can grow *all* the weeds😂
Oh yes! Weeds and Bermuda grass! 🤪
I'd like food to take over my whole neighborhood.
The carrots looked amazing! 😍
Thanks!!! I was impressed!
I use stacked tires roll them off and there lays your tators
Nope! I had the same problem.
Hmm, I’m thinking I need to add more fertilizer or something. 🤷♀️
😊 gotta love turtles 😂
This guy was pretty fast for a turtle!
Garden plant prices have gone insane. Start growing your own
Completely agree! I usually start my own seeds, so this was painful. 😂
Just build a solid wall between the goats and chickens. No reason they can't share the same partition wall while being completely separate. Showing us a pan of the whole inside would be very helpful. Showing a tiny corner doesn't give the viewers any sense of the space and the setup. Using a 2x4 construction would have been a lot easier and not much more expensive than free pallets. I was using free pallets on my property but they are a big hassle and rot in no time out in the elements. I find them to be a temporary solution. And not to mention all of the nooks and crannies bugs like spiders and such have to make nests with the pallets all revealed on the inside.
This video shows the chicken side with a wall divider. th-cam.com/video/6p_D_1uGmV4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tDcXFeB-R8oCiIvG It was the middle of Covid price hikes when we built this structure. 2x4’s were $7-$8 each. For a 30x10 barn that would have been over $500 easy. Most of the pallets were free, with the exception of a few we bought that totaled $40ish. 😅 So $40 vs $500? Of course, there are things we would have done differently. We are learning by doing and are okay with that. Thanks for commenting!
@@Starry_Night_Homestead Prices were ridiculous. I'm in the process of redesigning our whole chicken and goat setup because it's not set up efficiently and is just plain ugly because I used old corrugated tin and built it as I went.
@@MickSupper yes they were! So glad some material costs have come down a bit.
