Get you some B’laster PB Penetrating spray for your suspension. We used it on our semi leaf springs. Really quiets the suspension and keeps it from the metal on metal rough ‘sliding’.
@@coffeetime3881 my brakes were making the noises not the suspension.
@ Yeah I replied before I finished the video. It sounded like the suspension but after the decent you showed your tires were rubbing. I have an 89 Ramcharger I want to take on this trail. Nice to see older rigs out there still doing it. Great video and thanks for the reply.

I have a 1998 corolla that i want to change the headlights to LED too, DIY. So did you just insert/connect the bulbs to the original lines and slots and that’s it? :) no conversion/additional things to change? Thank you in advance. And thanks for uploading this video. 😊
@@vivzermattjigosevilla yeah just plug and play
@@4WheeledAdventuresthank you for replying, Sir. 😊
Hey! Comes the knocking persistent or only when you accelerating?
@@pp95pp all the time
@@4WheeledAdventures Thanks! I have a knocking noise when I`m accelerating. It is only there by 2000 to 3000 rpm. I changed the chain tensioner, but the noise is still there. Do you randomly have an idea? 😅
@ I’d Check your p/s pulley bolts make sure they are tight . Make sure your chain is not stretched.
What is the torque specs for the 4 bolts for hub???
@@jediaelisrael3227 I just installed them good and tight didn’t have a problem after. I couldn’t find a torque spec online. and the dealership was closed the day I was installing it.
@4WheeledAdventures ok thank you
Hello bro, I want the original oil, but I went to the dealership, and the code they gave me is NP/QCVT1LTNS3. However, the one in your video is 999MP-CV0NS3. Are they the same oils?
@@Rolotooo as far as I know it should work I got it off a website that verified my trans and everything.
2015 Nissan Sentra owner 96k never changed oil, hasn’t had issues but if I do it now will it ruin it ?
@@CasperTheFriendlyGhost777 I don’t think so the transmission runs off a belt not clutches
@@4WheeledAdventures I’ve asked couple shops near my house & all the mechanics make this face when I ask them about switching the trans fluid out, almost as if they advise not to? Weirdest thing ever
@@CasperTheFriendlyGhost777 yeah your not flushing it with a machine you draining and filling. A lot of mechanic think it’s still the 80 or 90 cars are a lot different now.
@@4WheeledAdventures going with a drain and fill then
Oh you can get under there without lifting the car? I want to do this because the dealership wants $300 or more and not sure if i missed it but i am guessing car should be off ?
Yeah I didn’t lift mine at all. you could go to a slab that is flat and get close to the edge near the front and have more room to work too.
@@4WheeledAdventures ok! Thats a good idea! Car should be off? Do you have a video of changing the filters also? Thanks for replying, just subscribed!
@@mikeg1211 yeah car should be off tell you fill it back up. I no longer owe the car I never got to installing filters in it. Thank you .
@@4WheeledAdventures oh no problem!! Makes sense! Appreciate it and great video! Simple and to the point.

I like seeing someone who knows to take the tube out to let the fluid out. I see so many clueless people dropping the thing full of fluid and making a huge mess! Really, I wonder how many of them got covered with CVT fluid! That stuff is so thin I swear a drop could run all the way down your arm (yuck!)
What size tires do you have on your suburban and lift?
@@Neverlostoverland. 4 inch on 35s
Need 2 people cuz change gears while watching flow? You put drain plug back on after putting the oil?
@@bobgraham1277 ? You fill it up wait tell it comes out. Shift gears and top it back off .
Ouch!!
bro that is a w spot. is that a natural dip in the elevation cause if so that adds on to the aesthetic
i can imagine staring up at the stars roasting marshmallows alone having a beautiful time
You shoulda hung back a quarter mile instead of tailgating the Jeep kicking up dust. My eyes get transfixed on the vehicle in the shot and not the road itself.
I’ll take it into consideration next time. The road itself kicks up a lot of dust and for the most part we weren’t traveling really fast just me speeding up the video makes it looks faster then what it really was.
still my favorite off road adventure road its always changing always new
Great video! Thanks for sharing about to head up that way .
@@quadrider203 thank you.
once you drain all your fluid from transmission, it only takes 3 quarts to fill it back up??
I usually get 3 qts to fill back up . It’s takes about 2 and some change.
What’s the part number or link for the part ?
@@1MADSCAT a.co/d/6I24mhq
does oil come out when you remove the drain plug? or only when you remove the level tube?
@@ManuelRamirez-us7yg a little comes out of the plug when you pull it .
@@4WheeledAdventures got it. im looking to remove 16oz and add an additive
Good instruction. Thank you.
Thanks 🙏 man you’re awesome dude
After re-installing the overflow tube into the drain, DIYers should pour in most of the three new quarts of CVT fluid (2.5 quarts at least) BEFORE starting the engine. Pouring in only one quart before starting the engine (1:25) is incorrect. The CVT should be almost full of new fluid before starting the engine after the old fluid has drained out. Then, slowly pour in the remaining half quart until fluid is seen to drip out of the overflow. CVT fluid level is temperature dependent so don't do the fluid exchange right after a long drive on a hot summer day. It's best to do a simple drain and fill after the car has been sitting for a few hours.
I worked at Nissan for over 10 years never once had an issue doing it this way. And why do you think I shifted gears to warm up the transmission it doesn’t matter if it hot or cold it will be filled up to spec after it’s all said and done that is why they have the tube in the pan.
So you didn’t have to remove the transmission fluid oil pan.?
@@victormcclain6759 no just remove the fill tube inside. You can change the filters if you’d like there is one in side the pan and another one on the left side you can change if you’d like. I never chanced them ever time I did it just every few I would change filters.
Best no nonsense video, and you included how to pop the snap fit couplings without snapping them. Brilliant.

Thanks for the video, AND the Amazon link for the part. Mine were exact from the factory. Great video and instructions.
Ihave Sentra 2016 and i didn't change the gear oil as they in the agency here warned me not to do so.what can i do.change it or litre by litre.please help me
@@WalidAnwar-b3c yeah I would change it drop the pan and change the filter and the side filter too
@@4WheeledAdventures 122000kilo meters .is it accepted or dangerous
@@WalidAnwar-b3c it’s should help it but. I’m not there I’m just giving you my advice on what I would do. Regardless if you keep going with that transmission it’s going to fall not changing that fluid it will burn the belt up in the cvt.
@@4WheeledAdventures I know that you are not here.I mean the number of km won't affect the change of the gear oil because here in Egypt they say much about this matter . anyway thank u for your kind help 🙏
Looks like it improved the start and response to throttle but didn't idle higher then 40psi. According to specs is it supposed to idle with higher pressure? I'm feeling there's more going on with the fuel lines but I'm no mechanic. Exact same truck tho just got mine so thanks for this vid. I'll grab me a fuel pressure tester too. Not excited about getting into that fuel rail tho lol. Looks like a Lotta parts to lose track of
@@juntjoonunya9216 no after replacing the fuel pump and injectors fixed the issue. The injectors was the most of it. The pump was just getting weak. Pressures were all good just need to maintain
Definitely? Definitely.
As a Nissan mechanic Let me tell you something, all cvt noises are caming from transmission CVT overheat, if you not believe me just check your transmission temperature in your scanner normal is 190-210 but always i found over 230-260f, of course this condition destroyed your bearings, variable pulleys, the push belt or chain, al your internal seals and clutchs, as well as your valve body, to prevent this problem in all CVT al least made by Jatco, install a extra transmission cooller and replace your cvt oil and 2 filters 30000 miles
@@lokyblack3379 yeah I no longer owe that car anymore I got tired of changing the cvt fluid and really didn’t like the car.
@@4WheeledAdventures yes, stay away from the cvt transmission is a pain in the ass
I never changed at 90k miles rn my mechanic says there’s no warranty on the job has me scared to do it now.. what should I do ?
