3D "tutorials" and more.
Hello and welcome!
I am a self thought 3D BLENDER artist mostly focusing on characters!
On this channel I will show you my tips and tricks and how I do stuff.
It's not meant as a "this is the way to do it" as I see that limiting, more like sharing the tools of how you CAN do things!

How to make clothing in blender in 5 Minutes
These are some of the base techniques I use when making clothing and other stuff.
Since so many requested the model i decided to put it out on gumroad:

A slightly more advanced but more elegant technique I suggest you check out if you liked mine:

How I make Easy Stylized Skin shaders for Blender Cycles and Eevee
มุมมอง 22Kปีที่แล้ว
My super easy skin shader setup. It used to be way more complicated, but I found for me simpler is usually better Download it for free here: nonexternal.gumroad.com/ You can also support me at: www.patreon.com/nonexternal Twitter: NonExternal
Quick way to sculpt nipples in blender!
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
This is my very first video so any feedback/opinion would be appreciated! I'm still testing around and trying to find my style of making videos, and I'm aware this was a bit quick and rushed. I ultimately want to make very clear quick on point tutorials. But it might not be my style. If you like my work and want to support, you can over at: www.patreon.com/nonexternal
This work is awesome, can u do mens clothing tutorial please?🥺
A texture baking video would really help
and when you move the rig etc the clothes will follow the rig or will it become deformed and broken?
Is that Yoruichi?
Is this Yoruichi from Bleach?
Thanks for the tutorial. Actually I am looking to reverse or blur out nipples. I got a model that has very realistic nipples, and I would like to tone it down for it doesn't look too sexual for what I am trying to do.
when will your new video come😅🤔
IDK D: im sorry ive wanted to but its hard to balance life stuff. I just think my old methods scares me a bit and i want to find a way that feels more natural for me
Can u make a tutorial of turning this result to image texture?
Have you got any suggested video tutorials for absolute beginners, I tried following this but I am just way too inexperienced with Blender to keep up, I want to make clothes for 3D models
what are the values for the color? in the mix shader
This is very impressive.
Nipball.
Your sculpt is very beautiful, congrats. Thanks for the tutorial
Thank you ^^ And no problemo!
Liked + Subbed Please remove the music in future videos as its annoying while you are trying to learn and way too loud. You voice is amazing on its own.
Thanks, I will keep that in mind ^^ Maybe turn it even lower, or something non-intrusive, i'll experiment a bit. But your point is strong!
Thank you for the help for i dint think mine is working as intended
I have an update! I realized that my poly wasn't up to the level of sculpting. So the multiresolutuon modification helped with that and now it did work as intended!
Amazing :D I'm glad you resolved it.
what did you do to make other side pop too, like it mirrored
Yes, the bob object has a mirror modifier on it targeting the chest object as its center
Nice video though it's not beginner friendly😢😢😢
Yeah I can understand that its not absolute beginner friendly. It's not so much my focus right now with my videos. I just want to simply show how I do things. Not the best way, not the most beginner friendly way, just what I do. It takes to much effort for me to do anything more and i would probably not make any videos if it wasnt for it. I hope you understand ^^
this was probably one of the most useful tutorials i have ever seen with clothing creation in blender even in the first 5 minutes watching you make the shirt and swimsuit i learned so much, thank you for this!
Im glad it was helpful ^^ And thats what I hoped to achieve with this as well. To show some tools to simplify the process, without overwhelming them with info
I am sure it was great tutorial. Unfortunately this was me: th-cam.com/video/H53tfcuNTfI/w-d-xo.html OH GOOOOOOOOD!
ive spent 2 days trying to model a dress for a female model and this method just made it 100 times easier THANK YOU
Yay im happy :D that's all I want with these videos, to show simpler ways that you can approach things
@@nonexternal i just began blender around 4 days ago and my current female model has alot of messed up vertices and its rigid and not smooth at all, how can i get the female model in the video to create the dress on?
@@Tjoc12 Its my model, and its not available anywhere, but mayebe i can put it out for 4-5 dollars or so^^
when i extrude its not like a ribbon its a full object with the inside space filled in, how can i just make it the outside
Im not 100% sure what your situation is, but it sounds like you have selected multiple faces, or maybe you have duplicates ontop of eachother. If you still have problems: feel free to join my discord and contact me there :D
Hey man! Do you think a man would speak LIKE THAT? My grandma spoke more manly than that, damn it...
youre intro was so solid it was contagious
im glad :D can i ask what you liked about it?
@@nonexternal im sorry for ruining it for you, it was meant to be a weird joke 😅 jokes aside helfpful video though
ah right
Free the nipples😂
thx so much you saved me
Instruction unclear, my model become fully naked XD
neuron activation
I Need more tutorials i love your videos keep up the great work
im trying to make skin tight clothing following this but for some reason the center of the mirror becomes really jagged (the edges that should be fused are zig zagging) know any reasons that might cause that to happen isntead of like you a straight line?
im not exactly sure if i understand your situation. I could take a look at it if you add me on discord: nonexternal
can anyone tell me where i can find this exact model... asking for a friend who wants to add jiggle physics to it... No but seriously is this model free and where to find it??
No its not for free, its one of my personal models!
Now where did you get that model
I made it myself
@@nonexternal tutorial?
@@oliveoiljunior No, there will never be one. I don't understand enough to make a course on this, and a full character is like SO much knowledge to go trough. And it ofte takes people half a year etc to make these courses, people thats way more skilled an professional than me
@@nonexternal Ahh i understand - eitherway good work with it though i wont be able to make anything with that quality for a good while
@@oliveoiljunior Don't let that bother you ^^ Ik its not easy but best suggestion is to try to find ways to have fun with it during the journey, that way u will enjoy it more and learn faster. Cause if you let the thought of "it's not as good as this or that" then it will never end. If you actually reach your goal, it will most likely be moved up. I feel the same way as you feel with artists i look up to and so on^^
Thanks
Nice, just got to learn those keyboard shortcuts to keep up.
haha yeah sorry, its hard to slow myself down, especially when i want to make it quick and simple x) But dont worry it comes with time ^^
since you asking for what next. maybe texturing ' aka masking' but for my part it's for unreal engine aka plug a masking into a texture : into a material instance, to define 'metals areas' plastic mats , modification paint areas, ect.
This is something i have very little experience with myself, I often stay away from texturing or anything that has to do with exporting, Im only familiar with blender exclusively.
i like it, but i don't think it's game friendly ' dunno if subdividing that much might make you ends up with over 100k polys xD keep in mind low pc tier can only survive 1M polys.
No its not game friendly, this is to block out/draft out your clothing, for sculpting purposes, no limits. THEN you can potentially find a way to reduce the count or whatnot depending on what you need.
@@nonexternal yeah your 1st method is okay, just need to keep in head the polys counts amd not abuse the subdivide xD
@@psyco4452 I don't, and id say it depends on your computer and what your goal is. ofc there is a ceeling, but the point with this technique, is speed and blockout. Im not considering this finished boxmodelling!
@@nonexternal i was speaking for my part, should have said : ' i need to keep in mind to not abuse the subdivisions ' my pc is an high tier one, so not a problem for me, but game design wise. im aiming at low pc tier cause i want more players possible and even try to port to consoles (if possible). personnaly i like game designs styles like : twisted metal eras. + piss filters era (silent hills and stuffs) xD ( and for further infos, now polys arent really a problem for high tier pc's since the unreal technologies support the 'Nanite' stuff wich mean an auto LOD dropper, ( divide the polys count by half by x range of the view the player have. ) ( without dropping the graphic by alot execution aim at making close range items high graphic and lower one ( most of the time hidden or half hidden in the background lower) result in better Frame per second overall.
@@psyco4452 Right yes, then that makes way more sense ^^ I have a couple dev friends and their moto is also to try to make it as entry level as possible in the beginning, then build from there. Ninite is mostly for static objects(last time i checked) but yeah you are right ^^
This is one of the best Tutorials for clothing creation with the best framework for edits in real time. I thank you sir for your efforts.
Considering that i feel like i have very little clue of what im doing and video making is new to me i greatly appreciate that<3
Just use collision clothe then done.
Are you Danish? Your accent sounds familiar
Close, Norwegian, still potato language just smaller potatoes xD
great video!
nice! Thanks for the video!
character model tutorial please!!!
next step: add the physics
