REALITY CHECK: the American revolution wasn't this dramatic guys. England kind of just left us alone. But with mercantilism and taxes we were profited off. Also we wanted to expand west for 'manifest destiny'. We were one of many insignificant colonies of the British empire. The most profitable ones were India and the Caribbean ones like Jamaica. All we were was a colony for the people against the Church of England and a money maker. Lets remember a good chunk of us are Irish and German.

I remember being in history class and my teacher saying how the hre is where Germany is today and everything clicked together. I was so shook realizing they’re the same person cause the show is kinda vague

My theory is that HRE stopped being a country for a while and started growing up like a normal person. When he became a country, he grew s bit older, becoming today’s Germany While that is a good theory, that can’t explain how he didn’t actually grow very ‘human like’ cuz the end of HRE and the start of Germany is definitely more than 100 years (I am bad at history, only guessing)
