The most incredible part was that superheavy was fucking burning, and spacex, knowing what hazards, still said "fuck it, we either die or go out with a bang, lets do the most exciting option"

Duriring one glorious October morning, at the first light of a Texas Sunrise, and for a brief moment, Starship Super Heavy booster became the first space vehicle in history to rise to orbit, return back for landing, and was catched in the air by the same launching tower where it departed from minutes earlier!

When a normal person watches this: wow, what a time to be alive! When a democrat watches this: How do i conflate the funding for this with starving children in Africa.

The opening shot when the edit returns to starship following the booster catch literally gave me chills 3:33. 2 years ago watching that shot in theaters would have felt like any other futuristic sci-fi film. Incredible.

on 13th October Space X caught the booster in mid air with the mechazilla, blue origin launched their flying penis to the edge of space and back. who do you think got the most press and public attention that day?
