Frank Warren - New Orleans Saints 1981-1994
มุมมอง 7664 ปีที่แล้ว
Someone was kind enough to share a sound clip about Frank Warren of the New Orleans Saints. They didn't recall where they got it from. I went ahead and added some pics of him to help put a person behind the story. Frank Warren was a 3rd Round draft pick out of Auburn of the New Orleans Saints in 1981. He played for 13 seasons until 1994 and was a major addition to the Dome Patrol. He recorded 5...

New Orleans Saints History | Highlights of Billy Kilmer, the first Quarterback in New Orleans

Believe it or not, there were Saints quarterbacks before Drew Brees. Even before Archie Manning. In 1967, a young man from San Fransisco left the 49ers and joined the Saints as a backup quarterback. By the end of the season he was the undisputed starter and intrepid leader of those early New Orleans Saints teams. Here is a little highlight reel of Billy Kilmer and some footage of early Saints a...

    Archie Manning was a really good QB. Because he played on two shitty teams at the time doesn't get nearly the credit or respect that he deserves in my opinion. Archie gets forgotten unfortunately. Credit Archie for being Loyal and staying with the Saints. He also didn't have any other premier talent around him on the offensive line, or other great players on his team.

  • @gurusrant7474
    @gurusrant7474 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I'm sorry, but you can't say the teams around him were bad for 14 years in his career.... He lost his last eight games of his career on two different teams. I believe the speed of the game was too much for him, and he never adjusted. He never played against black elite talent or black talent at all until he got to the NFL, and I think that was a shock to him. He was not very good at reading his keys, and he had several opportunities. They could have drafted Doug Williams, and the rest would have been history. He was right in your backyard and homegrown, oh, but he was black, so that wasn't going to happen. But we want to keep celebrating this hillbilly loser in terms of wins, and i'm not going to let anybody slide on this. Yes , he could throw, and he could run , but he couldn't do much else at the NFL level. He threw a pretty ball, and he was very athletic, but he didn't win. The same people supporting him still believe. The South never lost the war and that they would rise again.🤣🤣foh

    At 2:15 Eli Manning looks exactly like his dad! Now I understand why Archie didn't want his son's to go to bad NFL teams. He sacrificed his ambitions for Superbowls, his sons don't have to. And case in point both of their sons are Superbowls champions.

  • @gluserty
