LED Flasher Modification
Despite replacing the stock flasher with an LED flasher, you may get hyper flashing when you turn the external lights on (parking/lo/hi beams). This is how you modify the LED flasher to get rid of that.

You point to the driver's side A-Pillar and say you tapped a wire there for the reverse switch. Please provide more information about this process. What wire did you tap? How did you tap the wire. I also have a Mazda protege.

Very useful video, it looks like valve cover bolts are loose on most of the cars. Any ideas on how to clean oil from the spark plug bay?

Hi, were you replacing it because you had oil all over your engine head? I wonder should I do the same thing, cause I have oil all around the crack between head and block.

@@bleeneo101 So I had the same thing like the guy on this video, - half of the cover bolts were lose. Tighten em. I ve replaced the gasket too, since I bought it in advance.
@@363rs I know, my bolts were loose too..... my car won't start and I hope when I get the new gasket and torque it down, and put new plugs, it fires up. Also tomorrow I'm gonna do my best to clean all of the oil out of the plug tubes.

Thank you, did it last night. It wasn’t that hard but it did take me like four hours, but I did detail cleaning all the oil it was spilled.

Great vid! About to do this next weekend... does it help to use the gasket maker/sealant anyways? Are there channels/grooves on the cylinder head side to make sure to align to? @13:10 I think that's the EGR breather tube, not PCV valve.

the noise comes from the fan on LED bulb. They have a built-in fan to help with heat dissipation

you dont have to remove the plugs??
No. Replacing the spark plugs is independent of replacing the valve cover gasket. You can replace either without removing the other.
Did you need a special mounting kit?

That would probably help ruin the gasket. Normally once a gasket comes loose or is removed, it has to be replaced because the rubber becomes out of shape.
how did you remove bulb, near screen wash tank ? :)
It was a little too stuck so it needed more force. :)
What was the size of the screen or stereo?
The screen is 6.2". There are ones with 7" screen, but I did not like them or they were too expensive. The size is supposed to be standard 2-DIN, but it was actually about 2mm or so higher and wider than that.

I do not think so. You are supposed to adjust the height of the lights too.

One of them is good, and the other is a little fuzzy. I was too lazy to figure out if it was because of the oxidation of the "glass" or something in the led itself. Besides that, they are fine. I do not regret doing the change.
