we all have our day's and i have seen many of them.

I got 6:30+ min on my Viper 90mm and Cougar 80mm on those same packs, but it was total flight time and landing on storage or just below. To do it on throttle time is super risky... Not saying it can't be done with the right EDF plane and conditions, but it's risky. 😬 Especially since you taxi out 60-70 metres and on grass too. LoL. Like, why would you do that and not walk the plane out to preserve every mAh you can? Really strange choice there... Anyway, sorry about the crash, it does look fixable with a bit of time, glue and fresh coat of paint. Good luck with it and thanks for the vid. 🙂

You handled that crash so calmly. No matter what the cause I'll stress out for days over a crash like that.

I've landed at 20% without any problems with my F22...hope you get it figured out...

same thing happend to me but i had the 8cell version , I had no power to control anything so it glided over the airfield fance and did not ever find it.

For extreme flight time a 6S2P LiIon with Molicel P45B weighting 950g should be cool as with 9000mAh! :D But voltage cut off must be deactivated to fly until 2,8V ....

Shit! I haven´t had a Turnigy lipo but I have seen many puffed. Good it wasn´t the battery in this case but annoying that the ESC or Rx quit. Would be cool to know the reason. Your Rx still works (mayber some servo current overload?)? Separate BEC is safer but also more work and parts. I´m sorry for the damage and hope she gets a nice repair!

A few times I thought you had GBLynden commentating with you. Oh man thats sucks she went down. My Freewing Hawk cut power to ESC but still had power to controls. I was on 8s on a 120A Hobbywing esc. Managed to land and had 30% left in the tank. Had all cutoff settings disabled. Unplugged, plugged back in and fine. Sometimes these ESC have a mind of their own.

I know that was going to happen before it happened. You overdid your flight time.. your ESC is not rated high enough that's why I run 150 amp ESC in all my Jets and I want minimum 7,000 milliamp batteries with a minimum 100 c capacity rating well a little more common sense you could have avoided this... Remember this is DC current which is direct current for idiots that don't know they draw a lot of amperage and a lot of resistance. And you went way past the 3-minute mark so the fault is on you not on the equipment my Jets I get exactly 7 minute flight time and that's what throttle management is called common sense.!!!

Oh man that hurts, I almost lost one of my F22s by taking off with a discharged battery (60%). Fortunately when it died it was only a few feet in the air.

That's why I run a separate 2 cell battery for the electronics instead of relying on the ESC and the main battery for everything.

I fully appreciate your F-22's sacrifice to prove the flight time. This makes me really start looking at beefier ESC's, and maybe separate BEC. I still don't have the F-22 yet, but soon. You just flew the Rafale 80mm and now this F22. How do you think the two compare?

The Rafale 80mm with thrust mod and the Freewing F35v3 are my daily's. I fly them back to back at the field. But I gotta say, the Rafale flies like a beautifully balanced bird. The only two planes I've ever flown are those two. I am probably speaking out of ignorance, but it's hard to imagine anything flying better than the Rafale 80mm. The F35 is about the hardest plane I can think of for a beginner to start off on, but it got me 5 years flying experience in a month, lol. If I started out with the Rafale, I'd be spoiled. Take care of that bird bro!

I do night flights sometimes also periodically with a few of my jets 😂 , them lights helps ALOT a few times for me when I had to depend of the Flow of going to angle of attacks in certain distances at the depth just keeping up with how rhythm works in holding a pattern flow. Lol it's definitely risky with stressful 😂 because I do it also . NICE VIDEO TO SAVE ON THE HARD DRIVE FOR THE WINTER MONTHS 😂 lol I definitely get it 😂

Nice flight man! Night flying shows you how bad your depth perception gets affected! The 90mm F-15 is the best to fly at night because it has all those lights on all corners... That was risky though! I can hook you up with the burner too! Thanks for the mention!
