UE5 is better designed for real time rendering in videogame's game I reckon. Nanite is cool but still doesn't come close to full CG detail

They removed embed, Retarded. and they removed vertex colors from GLTF export settings. I hate blender so bad

Are some of the textures at the cockpit @0:27 different or does the render engine just make them look different. Like a lot of the grunge on the metal seems to be gone. Thinking of using UE so would like to know.

There is no comparison of Eevee with lumen. No doubt lumen is better.

UE5 Lumen is the most attractive for me. The textures seem more natural. I'm not certain, but UE5 Lumen is similar to how the human eye perceives light and surfaces. (and the other ways are extremely time consuming ~_~)

I mean, for one it's not hard to have render times under an hour when it almost litrerally destroys every detail the render should have. On the other this seems more of an issue of optomization, and a LOT of data missing here, like how settings are they using to have a 6-9 hour render time for an animationa few frames long, seriously.

1:58 how can you render this in 8.5 hours???? that's like 30seconds max at 4k per frame

Hi - which of the 'Groom Exported' Files do I select to 'install' for Blender Preferences? I can view the 2 x folders pycache + PyAlembic and then the 7 .py files .. I have tried them all and then each seperate .. but alas none will install and take me to the 'activate add-on ' check box

Lumen obviously looks the worst (it’s catching up REAL quick though), but the time saved by using Lumen is insane. Some of those times are less than 1% the render time of Cycles.

Imo cycles still looks the best, but the fact that Lumen can render it in such a short time is absolutely mindblowing
