I'll never forget the Friday Nights of going to Blockbuster
Some very intriguing commentary, really enjoyed the video. On an ironic level, I've watched many videos on here pertaining to corporate failures, and Blockbusters was definitely one of those examples, but this is the first time I've been introduced to your channel. Maybe the algorithm was taking notes after all 🤣 Can easily see, similar to JustEat and similar outlets trampling upon the traditional restaurant sit-down model post-pandemic, local bars and pubs being the next industry to be hit heavy with this, as you put it, 'efficient consumption'. Going out has become cumbersome, expensive and a lot less popular with our generation. I don't know what it would look like, but I could easily see a Netflix for drinkers in the very near future.
hahaha super glad you enjoyed! and yup, it's just a matter of what will be the tipping point for each industry before consumers demand the in person, 'inefficient' experience. food and drink, i think, is one of those industries which i'd be shocked goes fully 'efficient', the experience of so many of these places is predicated on the interaction with service people, other customers, and enjoying the ambiance of bars, restaurants, etc. at least that's my hope lol
Amazing thumbnail and good topic choice. There was an issue with audio dubbing halfway through and at the end. Good use of video clips but you need a green screen
really helpful feedback, thank you!
Bro cooked
great vid bro :)
Bros getting cancelled
nice video
Dude MRB is being sued... California Law, he will not win, that is key, sure it is about the... well I am actually surprised you did not know this or did but omitted it... regardless, give it a few months from that settlement (because that is what is going to happen). if you find any of this important sure you channel but at the moment it really matters little.
bro failed english subject
@@urnoob5528 contact to the University of Limburg, I have four degrees 'bro'... english is not my native language... besides this is social media. I am not writing an academic exposition so grammar, spelling and syntax is not important 'bro'.
mr beast is actually cooked
corporations are not your friend. it’s crazy seeing how quirky advertising has become especially on platforms like tiktok just to make you find them relatable - so diff compared to just a few years ago. great vid 😎
thanks so much for stopping by, please leave any comments or feedback below, it really helps the channel out a lot. please do try and watch til the end before commenting, i would love to start conversations, even if you don't agree with me! hopefully this goes over better than my first mrbeast video lol
Agree with you mate, maybe just pin this comment else it will move down, look man, I support new channels, so do not see my commentary as hate, it is not, just who I am... but regardless... insofar as 10+ min vids, your choice but keeping it short till you are monetized is likely best
i chose to watch dis organically. thx
woahhh i never thought about the point that im making an “active choice” when i choose a ytube vid. thats so crazy. same thing with netflix - and it can lead me to just close out the site completely. so subtle but can cause sm friction
ur dialogue is getting better and better
Well said
I didn’t click so I could watch, I clicked so one less person could
lol I wasn’t worried of it disappearing
👍👍
This is so true. I mean depending on when you were born, you missed out on A LOT of stuff. Is it making your existence worthless? So, why do we think if we out on the new chicken sandwich or new overpriced merch, we're gonna miss out on an opportunity of a lifetime? If anything we're just wasting time worrying about missing out on something not important while simultaneously missing out on what truly matters. We buy that merch, but then we lose savings for our dreams, we get the chicken sandwich, but that makes us feel fat diminishes our confidence to speak to that girl. Great video man
You're thumbnail is a mess, I can't understand a thing. But the video idea seems good
10th comment let's go
The world moves so fast that you're left with the decision to go along or stand with yourself.
Thumbnail and title of the video was intriguing, but I was immediately introduced with 240p b-roll and you calling said thumbnail and title a social-experiment. It feels cheap when you use youtube buzzwords, especially combined with poor visuals.
@@jerrycardenas9787 very fair critiques, especially on the b-roll. really appreciate you still taking the time to watch the video and leave a comment!
He has 100 subscribers, he ain't got all that money. At least he's tryna do something with his skills
Actually I saw it said I’d watch it later and am now hmph
TH-cam deleting my comment, when there weren't any swears in it, is extremely poetic in itself.
comment self-destructed lol
Thank you for making this video, I've been thinking about this lately as well, how corporations use not only our insecurities, but also a fear of social isolation or "fitting in" with the rest.
FIRST 10 COMMENTS GET ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING! but i would really appreciate any thoughts or feedback you may have :)

Great video. A very necesary message. Thank you so much
thank you so much for the kind words !
Excellent ideas, Rohan. Subscribed!
thank you :)
I never thought it signified the loneliness epidemic. I just assumed it was because of late stage capitalism and McDonald's needing less incentive to draw customers in, because people will go there regardless. Additionally, they don't have to worry about safety liabilities and upkeep of the play places, which can be disgusting. Out of the 20 or so McDonald's by me, I think only one has a play place now.
Great video!! Explained your message clearly and very efficiently, subscribers will come this is awesome work
rlly appreciate it ty :)
Very nice video, thanks for making it ^^!
You were right! You are gonna make a second video on Mr. Beast, right considering the allegations made against him?
ehhhhh, on the fence honestly will only make something if i feel like i have something particularly unique or insightful to add to the convo, which i don't entirely think i do yet !
@@rohansillyguy Hmm... Okay.

How tf can I retweet this, all your videos are banger please keep making them
appreciate u 🫡
Damn I don’t appreciate u coming for me like this
I feel like the message here is: Instead of sacrificing sleep to be more productive, be more disciplined and spend less time on activities that waste time such as social media or doom scrolling so that you can spend that time recovering for the next day.
exactly, ‘maximizing’ your life should be a focus on efficiency / depth of activities, not quantity
great stuff man
That's literaly the ONLY possible outcome, ending humanity that is. Either by the apoc scenario, or by us merging with it to create a new creature. We're not "worthy" of those tools, we would have to upgrade our "software" to unlock their potential. Otherwise they would always be restricted to our flaws in order to sustain as a specie. There's nothing left for us if we sought after optimization and abstraction. The reason we put up with our flaws is that we have no alternative. well now we do. Whatever you associate with authenticity has characteristics, and the machine could copy them. In other words, in the future those imperfect artworks and products you cherrish as a beacon of humanity would be made by AI.
ai will not be the end of humanity. it’s just another tool that humans will use as a lever for impact. i agree that the humanity and imperfection of art becomes more important in a post ai world
what happens when the tool is more intelligent than its wielder?
without monotony we’ll just rush thru life. we can’t lose the art of lingering
real. when u live for views you lose the will to live authentically
